  1. Here I am, took the day off.....and nothing better to do, except wait for Lani's Poki Mix !!!! The Brown Heritage: and with his family: Pam 113 with its new disguise: The B&R02: The Vintage Daytona: The White Face ExlorerII Swiss WHS: Together with his sibling: and together now with the mini family: Enjoy and thanks for looking! Any comments will be highly appreciated (with the watches or the picture taking). Hike~!
  2. Have you checked other dealers here????
  3. What else would you use poki mix for???? beef? although it mite be worth a try......I guess you haven't tried the prepackage version? I got them last time I was there; hawaiin sea salt.. chili peppers.. kukui nut and dried sea weed all packed in a 4oz packet! I have about 4 packets left! I always get a pound of fresh ahi on the weekend and season it wit the mix.....and yes! with a cold brew on a warm afternoon........priceless!
  4. Well, now we all owe Andrew an apology if he was seriously just joking around.........either that or he read this thread and realized that he [censored] off the wrong customer and that RWG members don't take $hit from dealers and band together as a community when it comes to BS treatment! As I said before, we could always take OUR BIZNIZ ELSEWHERE! That's why this place is important for us collectors because this is the place where we all could share our experiences and band together as a community so that we have one strong voice. As Confucious (or was that my Grandfather????, uhmmmmmm) said: "10 sticks banded together is always stonger than one!" Cheers Mates.....now we're happy again! Hike!
  5. I agree with you. Those were the one's I started playing with and have a few asian movements laying around dead! LOL! Ok Brah.....send the T-tops man...I have a 46 chest.....so figure out the size! Don't forget the Poki mix to go with it! That darn thing is hard to find here! I'll PM you my address. Let me know what I owe and I'll send you a check! Thanks, brother.......much appreciated! Hike
  6. I was a little shocked to see this thread come up! Wow, you actually received something from Neil after all these months! I can't wait till you tell us your story! When sailinjack got his a few months ago, he PM'ed me that Neil will be sending mine soon...........I guess it's still in the Thai PO koz I haven't seen it yet! BTW: How many watches did you order? I ordered two!
  7. @freddy and lani! I know this is a little bit off, but I'd like to asked anyway....this should not be a concern for the Asian-WHS version, right? I just ordered the Asian, that's why I asked. I also have both the EXPII and GMTII TT & SS Swiss WHS and never have any problems for a year now, and I always use the GMT when I travel! Thanks, Guys!
  8. $188 for Asian WHS! Hurry up b4 it goes out of stock again!
  9. Drop him! It's not worth it! You need respect and you should have it! I always believe in "the customer is always right" motto! This was where me and TTK had a major disagreement! This is not an American thing! A customer is a customer, irregardles of nationality, number of purchases, amount of purchase, etc. $10 or $10000 is the same if you're buying! I have bought my collections mostly from Joshua because he always is upfront with me and always honor his responsibilities as a dealer. If I have a problem, he suggest to have it fixed locally, if not he asked to have it sent back and I always get it back fixed or replaced! If its a minor thing like a broken strap or a defective case, He sends a replacement without even asking for proof like pictures or whatnot! I have tried a few dealers, but no one could approach the kind of service and products that I get from him! Other than Joshua, the only other person I'll buy my collectiojns from are RWG MEMBERS! I have bought and traded from some of our esteemed members (mostly supporters, but some not) from all over the world and I have yet to be disappointed! Zip, Nada...... TAKE YOUR BIZNIZ SOMEWHERE ELSE! HE'S TOO BIG TIME FOR YOU NOW!
  10. I ordered one from Joshua late last night, I had EMS Tracking # this morning and email that the watch have been shipped! I should see the watch Monday, next week~! Hike!
  11. @Toad Here's Ofrei's site where Lani got his stuff, I think Lani is talking about KT-22 on this page: http://www.ofrei.com/page245.html
  12. Still Wearing this: Maybe this Thurs:
  13. I yet have to see the pictures! When is that going to happen, brah? Post them already!!!!
  14. I'm surprised you just found out about this fix! You're slowing down, brah! LOL! I love you man! Send me some of that COFFEE and a box of POKI MIX koz I'm completely out! Hike! BTW: You could do the same trick on your noisy Chopard MMXL!
  15. Hi Storm! Thanks! Got it from ztech, and I installed a Panatime blue elephant strap! Actually this watch is chameleon! It would take any strap and it changes its appearance! How's winter over yonder? Cheers, mate!
  16. @UB7 and lani: Just for you dudes! here goes!
  17. @delta Yes there is! Here you go! I'm lovin this watch! It's been on time +30sec for 48 hours! Since I greased everything, I've gone swimming and takin' showers with it with no problems! Used it working out, too! For it's size, it's very, very comfortable! Best rubber strap on a REP that I own!!! Highly recommended......just be carefull with the crown when you screw it on to the tube! It''s not well aligned! Grease it and it gets much better! I got it from Joshua! Good luck!
  18. Sori brah! I had temporary mental black out after seeing all the blings! Sorry UB7, Dude! Didn't mean to hurt your feelings! I just have this bad reactions to too mch bling! My mind gets cloudy and fuzzy after that! It's the same feeling after I finish half a bottle of Petron Anejo and smoking a Cohiba! I love you guys!!!!
  19. That's ok, Rob, I can wait! I'll be content with my 113 for now (courtesy of ZTECH) one of my favorite buy this year, by far:
  20. Oh my gaaaaaad! Where are my shades! I feel like I'm gonna throw up ! That is way too gaudy for my taste! Sorry!!!!!
  21. Wow! Me like! If yoou want to part with it, let me know!
  22. @Pug! You can't be more true! I experienced this first hand in the mountain province of the Philippines! I was there last year in a town called Kalinga, in Apayao province (not sure about this) for a mountain trekking/hiking trip for a week and to test one of the Philippines famed white water river called Chico. I stayed in a very small motel in town for the first night and the next day my guide (recommended by one of the local officials and my local/native host) picked me up and we went off to the mountains for a week! When we came back, I stayed at the motel again and that night he brought over the guide for our white water rafting trip the next day for an introduction. After some small talk and since the sun was still up, i asked if they could take me around their town and they did. Make a long story short, his 8 year old son must have figured out that we're stopping by there house because by the time we got there, a huge crowd had formed around their house. The WW guide invited me (and my trekking guide) to his house, introuduce me to his wife, mother-in-law and 8 children ranging from 19 to 2 yrs old! And this would blow you away, the eleven of them lived in a hut 12' by 14' (just my estimation)! Anyway, we talked and pretty soon I could hear a chicken squawking outside, then the wife showed up with a dead chicken and started cleaning and cooking it. So I asked if its time for them to have dinner so that I could excuse myself and he said it is, but that I have to stay koz I am the guest and that the chicken was for me! Man, talked about being touched! It's probably one of the few chickens they have and they have to kill and cook it for me! The story actually goes on, but you got the gist of it! It's just part of their culture, which is amazing! I never forgot those people!
  23. For a new member, you're very smart! Amen to that! @dabom said: "For example, I primarily buy reps of Rolexes and Panerais. I like their designs, but I don't like genuine Rolex movements and bracelets, and Panerai's size is a little too big for me to buy a genuine even though they look good on my wrist in photographs." "I know there are many of you who don't have the same morals, and perhaps to you you think that any free ride is a good ride - well consider if you yourself were an artist and someone was enjoying your work but ripping you off. Or perhaps you aren't an artist and you're just an employee - how would you feel if someone got credit for the work you did, and got a raise ahead of you because of it?" @dabom: How do you think Rolex and Panerai feels that you're buying their Rep'ed product and not buying the GEN?
  24. Nice combo! Mine is setting Strapless in ....the box! Waiting for the strap donated by SirLance! I also need a 26mm buckle, if anyone wants to sell one! Please PM me! Thanks! Last time I wore it with the original strap that I vintagize!
