Blue SO II has got a slightly darker inlay than gen. But you have to know this and it's only visible under special light conditions.
I don't know much about this chronomat but I would stay away from this. Gen is very expensive and it is simply impossible to manufacture a rep which is spot on. As far as I know they have got problems with sunken datewheels and poor bracelet quality.

Here you can watch manufacturing of gen B01 Chrono. Decide yourself if a rep of this will be good enough for you. Especially have a look on dial and bracelet manufacturing. This watch is a very high quality luxury watch build to highest standards. So it's very expensive and has got a very special look which a rep in my opinion cannot achieve.

Both watches are very good choice!
For me this Superocean II is one of the most accurate reps!
Black one is really hard to differ from gen. You must exactly know where to look.

It has got slightly slanted links like the pro II but the middle links are wider.

Steelfish is an excellent rep and still a very popular Breitling watch. But I think it would be nicer to do another batch of those Superocean 44 replica models. There was a gen PVD version with orange parts, too. This would be on my wishlist.
And they should do a correct version of the Avenger II Seawolf. The current availible reps are absolute crap. And I'm missing a pro III SS bracelet.

Nice watch but surely not gen. Service maybe from any watchmaker. It's only an eta. You do not need to send it to B for service.
As I mentioned B did never run gen Blacksteel Fishes. And have a look on to the bracelet: Breitling never did a gen SS bracelet in PVD. All Blacksteel models have got rubber or military straps! Only the deployment clasp for these Ocean Racer straps are availible in PVD. And those little buckles.

Use google. You will find PVD Steelfishes. But these are very rare because they were coated from specialists and not by Breitling.

Until today there has not been a gen Blacksteel version of the Steelfish. So everybody who knows something about Breitling will call you out very fastly.

Case is wrong! It has got wrong lugs, straight area between the lugs and horrible crownguards. It's just the old case from the former Avenger Seawolf with new dial, hands and bezel.

Does nobody recognize that they are using the case of the former Avenger Seawolf with new bezel and dial? Look at the area between the lugs. It should be curved not straight. Bezel font is awsome and crownguards are really bad.

Another thing I have to tell: Endlinks marked 147A will fit Avenger Seawolf models! Not SOSF. They've got another shape and curvature.

These new chronos have got wrong date font and two wrong second markers beneath the date window. These two markers are far to long.

SOSF never says " Swiss Made" on the dial. I can only see two pics. The second one shows a SOSF with aftermarket bracelet and gen blue dial.

To make it really perfect I would need 592er SEL's without notches for the springbars. But these are only availible in the gen's world I guess.

I didn't try the newest TC93250. There's also another problem. SD hasn't got the same endlinks like Sub. They are different, especially on the underside. Bracelet differs, too. Not only shiny sides on SD...there is a full link near the clasp on the 6 o'clock side instead a half link.

@Deokhoon Jun: SEL position is a pain in the ass. Very difficult to change because the manufacturer already produced this flaw. Unfortunately this watch does not take other SEL's. I tried TC93160, TC93250 and BP SD. All of them are sitting totally wrong or have got big gaps. So I had only the chance to use Noob stock SEL's.

@matt74: I covered only the markers because gens doesn't have glossy lume. Movement, DWO, hands and dial are stock noob assembly.

@dbane: My construction is exactly gen like. Rehaut, crystal and gasket have to be preassembled and pressed in together into the case as one unit.

Just finished a new build. I thought I would show you some pics of this piece due to the fact that classic 16600 is still very popular. It's one of my favourite Rolex models.

I had a look at tons of SD's on the bay. And I was able to get a Noob SSD from a fellow member here. So I planned and finished some mods on this watch.

My build could be a real 16600P (2000-2001) with lugholes. One of the earlier watches with superluminova (since1998). Maybe there was a service in 2006 and a new bracelet with SELs for non lughole watches was mounted (OP10 clasp code dates out Oct/2006). So it has still stock dial and hands. Markers got a slight vanilla cream colour over the years and the lume isn't very strong nowadays.

New separate custom rehaut manufactured
