Yep, Japanic is right - Im referring to the 2008onwards Vintage that they have produced to celebrate so many years of IWC. Particularly looking for the Aquatimer.
Took the case back off, gentle heat with hair dryer at distance and then sealed bag for a few hours with silica gel. Now bone try and running sweet - thank you all!
How could I find out if the gasket is in there?
Just back from a trip to Hong Kong and took the opportunity to spy on some nice watches. One that stood out for me was the Vintage Aquatimer seen below:
I currently have the Aquatimer 2000 with rubber strap and wonder if it would be possible to get a black croco strap to fit?
Thank you
D'oh! Girl was in the shower and I reached in to adjust taps and got my panerai wet... Though nothing of it but half an hour later the dial was steamed up and it seems to be out of time now.
Fixes or is it fff'd? and unfortunately I don t have pictures..
So I've got hooked with the rep modding and will be sending my 359 away for AR treatment ASAP.
Next thing that is bothering me though is the Date wheel alignment. What can fix this and who in UK or EU?
After my previous thread on disapointment in the AR of my 359, Im looking to go the modding route as so many do.
Please post before and after pics of AR jobs, preferably PAMs and particularly 359. No munipulated lighting pics
Thank you
Just received my pam359 from Mary - top service btw.
The quality of the watch seems really good but I am very disappointed with AR - it's almost like a mirror.
This is my first rep and maybe I expected too much?
I seem to be preferring the beige lumed pams and was just wondering what reps there is out there that I've missed. Tobacco dial is nice is as well.
359 and 372 are well noted
So I've narrowed down to what my first rep will be.. Either the 351 or 359.
Out of these two, is there much in between them in terms of quality of build and replication. I love them both but prefer the brown croco strap of 351. Please include links where you can as there's so many "best ever"/ "v2s" / "h factory" etc and I'm still not to grips with that.
Many thanks
Ps. Is there a dummies guide to ordering somewhere or is it as simple as ordering off of the a ADs website.
