  1. Well, it took about a week for it to show up on the EMS webpage, After that it was very quick. And thanks!
  2. Picked up my package at the post office this morning. I'm at work and still haven't opened it. I think I can hold it off a bit longer... No!
  3. I just had n idea... Do you think it could be possible to fit the dial and hands from a PA0328 rep into the case of a PA0406 rep? They look the same size. 328 here: http://www.timesshop...hronograph.html 406 here: http://www.timesshop...hronograph.html The 328 has the same dial and hands as the 332 and the 406 has a PVD coated case. Since they're both on sale at Timesshop, it shouldn't be too expensive either.
  4. Sure, I'll do that. Thanks either way.
  5. And now it's released from customs in Sweden, so it's so close I can almost smell it.
  6. That's good to see. I'm in no hurry. Thanks!
  7. The non-PVD version wasn't bad at all, but I really like the dot hour markers, as opposed to the stick ones. I've come across some websites that claim to sell what I'm looking for. Magically they all cost between $245 and $249 and they're all discounted as well. Unfortunately all the websites are present at lists of scam sites as well... Oh, and they all use the same pictures of gens.
  8. Sorry, I wrote about it being anodized and, since it's stainless steel, it's not. It's clearly chromated. My apologies. I don't think you would have to worry about the chrome flaking, though, unless it's cheaply done.
  9. I've just noticed that my Sub has been dispatched from sorting center in Guangzhou. Let's hope it makes a quick journey halfway around the world.
  10. Thanks a lot for your help. They all look nice, but knowing myself, I would probably not be satisfied with any of them.
  11. Hi! I'm quite new here, so maybe I'm doing this the wrong way. If so, please forgive me but let me know. At the moment I'm actually more of a Rolex guy, with a gen Datejust on my wrist and a rep Sub coming in, but I spotted Stallone's Panerai PAM332 when watching The Expendables and I immediately knew that this was a watch that I needed to have. Of course, since there was only made 500 of the gen, and it costs quite a bit more than my salary allows me to spend on a watch, I went searching for a replica. Without success... So please, if you know where to get hold of one, let me know. I'm fine with a 21j asian movement, as long as the watch looks fairly ok and is at least water protected. I wouldn't like to spend much more than $200 on it, but of course, I'll have to take what I can. Thanks a lot! Oh, I know the movie is just braindead action, but I quite enjoy that.
  12. Hi Mike, Unfortunately this is the only quality watch I own, which is why I use it for all occasions. But the noobmariner will probably be the new beater. If I get another watch for special occasions, I'm rather inclined towards a gen vintage Omega Seamaster with black leather strap. Or a Sjöö Sandström, which my father and brother both have. Yesterday I received the QC pictures from Andrew and they certainly look promising. My wife asked me today why I didn't order a rep Datejust Midsize for her instead.
  13. Once you perfect this method, I'll stand in line wanting to buy a purple (yes, purple!) dial for either my gen Datejust or my incoming rep Noobmariner. Keep practicing. I wish I had your patience, skill, equipment and free time.
  14. Thanks for the kind welcome. I might as well add a couple of pictures of my daily beater, which is a gen Rolex Datejust from 1989 w blue dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.
  15. Hi, everybody! I'm new to this watch hobby thingy, but this seems like a decent enough place to chat to others. I've just ordered a Noob Factory Rolex Submariner replica from yourtrustytime.com, and I hope it'll work well for me. Can't wait to see it.
