  1. Damn, that thing looks way better now.

Had to be an skilled WS who did that! B) .... (It was me :lol2: )

Like Pisko said, it was just the rotor that was out of place a bit, and it badly needed a cleaning and buffing. The rotor looks way worse then it is in the first pictures, due to old glue from the plate that should be there with the Panerai text. We cleaned it, and glued the piece back on, so it's shiny and goodlooking now.

Was my first time doing something major like this. We took it all apart, took hands off, cleaned the whole case and took the blue AR off with some Autosol. IMO, the result is great.

  2. Might sound dumb here but are these are the 'Front Glass' of Hublots right ? And upon purchase is installation included as well?

If we were to self install is it difficult ? Because if we were to get local watchdealers here in Singapore to install them, high chance of getting thrown out after they find out that my Hublot is a rep !

Yes, it's the "front glass" :)

You get the crystal only, you need to mount it yourself or get someone else to do it for you. I know there are modders located in Singapore, so it shouldn't be a biggie.

  3. Well Im sorry Fleet...but the partys over for you Im afraid. Im going to tell everyone I know you wear Boss XY.. and now everyone will smell just like you.....evil laugh Insues ...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

    :(

Eventhough, I hardly think I'll ever be in Charlotte NC, but if I ever would, I'd love it if you brought your avatar girls with Veronica Mars (?) in your signature. :D

  4. I used to be like some of you guys, having a ton of different perfumes. But now I only go with one smell, and I feel that is way better. People know me from my smell (I don't exaggerate it, but I have a hint of something, you know) and that's how I want it to be.

I've used many different smells, but somehow, somewhere, some of my friends started copying my perfumes - so we all smellt the same.

Now I use Hugo Boss X Y for a couple of years, and I dig it! I don't tell anyone I know what smell I wear, since I want to keep it for myself.

  5. My safari dial (and others) have this mod. It was done by a lume expert in Spain. I think he posted it a while ago... (repgeek maybe?)

    Fleed did that job.

Care to post some pics of that mod? Would be great. :)

EDIT: Found the thread on RG, pictures do not work. Bumped it and asked for pics. Let's hope it's good!

  6. My ROO also came with a loose screw that woulda fallen off if I didn't tighten it directly as I got it.

Seen others get that aswell, seems like they somehow forget to tighten those.

Just a heads up if you get a ROO, check those screws.

  7. Well, I don't questions HKtan not being legit. But I do feel he often lies about the time when a strap will be done. Heard many stories about this.

He runs a business, and wants to keep everyone happy, so he says 2 weeks, and everything is jolly.. Until the 2 weeks are up, and he realize he was way to optimistic.

I've ordered a strap, he said 2 weeks. I mailed him back, asked if this was really a legit time, he answered "yes, I guarantee". That's not just a promise, it's a legit guarantee he'll have it done in 2 weeks. That's what I paid for.

Anyway. Im not one to rant, I have my patience. The 2 weeks are up, but we'll see how much extra time I'll have to endour. But as GreenHornet says, it's better to be honest about wait times, since it'll just bite you in the ass when people will get the wrong impression after too many faults about that.

  8. Thanks Fleet, would have been icing on the cake if I had received TAN today! I am sure you will do the honours as far as that thread goes! 'Safari on TAN, love from Sweden' you probably have a real camera too :)

    Haha, hopefully. :)

I need to find someone here to do the strap change, im to scared to do it myself, haha. But I bet every watchsmith/battery changer will be able to change a strap.
