Do you have factory wiring harness Lucas replacement smoke or did you use aftermarket?
I think some are works of art, and the skill that goes into some is superb, but they are still not real and authentic - which makes a difference.
A Factory Five Daytona Coupe is a BadAss car - it is still not a Shelby, badge or not.
If you read the current Hodinkee article (pretty good article) it states that all Rolex cases are hand polished - assuming the same for Tudor, you would get this.
Bane, I assume you are using a mechanical method to guide the case along the lapping machine to maintain angle?
Lapping is an art and requires a tremendously expensive machine $4-10K and a lot of experience. a 63 PCG (1966 is after pointed CGs) is going to have less chamfer/bevel than a 58' NCG sub. but more than a 79 5513. Search a bunch of photos - I like to check hqmilton.com as a good comparison site.
Bevels (technically "chamfers") = vintage which is part of the appeal. Bevels vary by year to pretty much disappearing on newer pieces. The early vintage subs have the most bevel so a 6538/7922/6200/6542 have marvelous bevels - and Bane nails it here.
Movement is pink or brassy?
Tudor 7924 or 7928 CG or PCG subs have the Rhodium plated movement. Non-subs and the odd 7922s have the pink movements and the rest the brassy movement
Good looking build
