I don't really have a close relationship with my father (or any, the last time we talked is 25 years ago), but my mother has been more than a mother and a father in one person and we communicate daily even if we live far apart in this world). My mother is slowly getting closer to the time when ailments become more and more frequent, despite her disciplined life style and her general good physical shape. I am very worried about her falling seriously sick one day, but your post has given me strength to be there for her when it happens. All the best to you and your family.

I have to agree: the endlink fit, the softness and patina of the case and the incredible dial make this watch. Of course knowing how to piece words together to fascinate readers never hurts. Well done M.

I think I saw this case for sale a while ago without movement. Maybe somebody is just abandoning a project .... As for the 6542 cases: IMHO the PT case is pretty close to the gen (on top):

I picked up two stems for my V72 yesterday in Miami and they look like they could work. The only difference I can see is that the thicker part right after the thread (sorry I don't have the proper lingo down) is slightly shorter. Can anybody confirm that this would work? Then I could send one to Akira

Yes, sometimes it needs a little sanding of the crystal retainer ring, but it depends more on the crystal you are using. Only be sure that NDT sends you the right bezel. I have received 3 different types already (the one on the pic, one that has a much more pointed shape and one that looked more like 6538 bezel).
