  1. Hi "fellows in Mysery" guess I have to join this thread in order to give You some information but please be aware I am not a native English speaker ;-) Bought this watch twice. The first direct from Trusty and the second from a fellow member but he bought it also from the same dealer. This was happened app. 1 year ago. Today the situation is as follows. Both watches are "out of order". It started with a non working day wheel, now working day wheel. up to significant in accuracy and ends with an non working movement. Also on both cases, the tread in the Stem- tube is destroyed. After the first damage of my TG It was shipped back to the dealer in order to repair the watch. I recieved it back after 8 weeks but after one week I had realized that the Watch stopped. I decided to open the case and realized that the rotor (consists of 2 parts) was broken on the weld seam. Trusty recommend to send it back again but honestly, I am tired to deal with Asian guys also because of the big distance and the huge risk because of the customs here. The noise of the rotor isn't a big issue for me(like this sound :-) ) and the quality of the case including glass (after removing the AR on the outer surface) seems to be ok in general. At this time (after trying to repair the asia clone) I am looking for an eta 7750 movement in order to substitute this very very worst Asian clone. But I am concernd because the first stepp is to replace the tube with an working thread. If You have information about this ( maybe an tutorial) please give me an hint. Currently I have investigated if the existing hands are matching with the original eta 7750. You can read it here: http://www.rwg.cc/to...le-chronograph/ Regards
  2. Hi all. Who knows more about this IWC? IT's possible to identifiy it as Rep or Gen? Regards
  3. Yes, on the movement is stamped 2892 A2 and V8D3A Regards
  4. Michael, yet you are right. Please find attached a comparison between an ETA 7750 and an ASIA 7750 Clone (3LZF2) Drawings revealed: --------------------------------------------------------------------- ETA 7750 Hour Hand -> 2,00 mm Minute Hand -> 1,20 mm Central sec. Hand -> 0,25 mm Small hands -> 0.18 mm --------------------------------------------------------------------- ASIA 7750 (3LZF2) Hour Hand -> 2,00 mm Minute Hand -> 1,20 mm Central sec. Hand -> 0,22 mm Small hands -> 0.22 mm --------------------------------------------------------------------- But by measuring the existing damaged 3LZF2 the diameter of the small hands are only 0.18 which is matching with the ETA movement ???? But my biggest concern are because of the central second hand 0,22 (clone) to 0.25 mm ETA! There is a difference from appr. 0.03mm. Is it possible to enlarge the central second hand by 0.03 mm. This is 13 % of size! Regards
  5. @aeromatic thanks a lot for your prompt replay. :-) Regards
  6. Hello all, Have a question more specifically need some kindly advise. Attached you could find pics about a original Omega movement with dial and glass from a midsize watch. On the movements is stamped 1108. What kind of movements is this? What shoul be an adeqaute or appropriate price to buy such a movement, glass and dial. Thanks in anticipation Regards
  7. wow, thanks for your quick post. Yes, I am complety agree with you, but I have two Topguns but both are at this time "not working" I like to replace the A 7750 against a standart 7750 eta. I mentioned this with the welding because I am assumed that also the stainless steel Housing of the spitfire double has the same size as the "big" TopGun. Another opportunity would be that this incridible worse logo on the left side of the housing would not exist (on the SS Version) Regards Sorry for some errors, I am not a native english speaker ;-)
  8. Hi Gents, as mentioned above: I was thinking about it but the fake split second hand put me off. This is also a reason not to buy this watch but on the other hand I like and I need the size of this watch. According my information, the diameter should be 46 mm. Is somebody able to confirm this? Maybe a stupipo question, is there an possibility to close the hole from the fake pusher at 11:00. I have access to very small welding devices in orde to manufacture thermocouples for hot gas areas in gas turbines. After disassembly and separte the housing it shoul be possible. Maybe I will also equip It with an TopGun Dial. Regards
