ROUGH ESTIMATES
Rep $270 + $30 shipping = $300,-
Superlume $100,- + $20 shipping = $120,-
AR $100,- + $20 shipping = $120,-
Swiss 7750 $550,- + $10,- shipping = $560,- (if you can find any)
Installation Swiss 7750 = $50,-
TOTAL: $1.150,-
So for a used one in mint condition $1.000,- would be a start. Also depends on V1 or V2 dial. V1 (only lume on 3, 6, 9, 12 markers and minute/hour hands) is more sought after.
Agreed. Don't wear that watch anymore among your friend and his family in law. Instead listen to Freddy and buy yourself a nice used gen and wear that. If the dad asks what happened to the Skyland, you can say you sold it, show him your new gen watch and ask for the hand of his daughter .
Never tell him you lied or put things different.
Personally I wouldn't have worn a rep in the first place if you knew that this guy was a watch lover, let alone lie about it.....
Great comparison, thnx! Finally a pic that makes it clear that the gen 3, 6, 9 and 12 fonts are bigger than on the rep. Something I've also noticed with the 'ultimate' PAM001b and 111e...
Great to hear! I was trying to minimize my rep collection, but if it doesn't wear too big this is very tempting... Lucky for me Capice doesn't live too far from my place
Great review as usual, BT, thnx!!!!!
I remember having seen dark grey subdials instead of black subdials on the gen panda. Is that accurate on the rep?

Basically - unless you are unlucky - most perform pretty good. But don
