I would pull the case back, lube the gasket, lube the crown gasket before you get it wet. I have read many threads where casebacks come untightened from the factory.
I only get watches wet that have been tested. currently that is only one, my Citizen eco diver, tested to 200m. and I only get that one wet when there is no hot tub to enjoy. big temp changes are bad...
I had my exp II rep tested, and swam with it, but again, it was tested. if you grease the gaskets on your beauty, I am sure that it will test swimable. god luck
beauty or a watch. dealers say its 30 meters resistant, which means you can wash your hands with it. I haven't gotten mine wet yet, but I am trying to get it tested, I will post when I do.
Zig, I have said it before, and I will say it again, and again, and again, you are amazing. I am wearing this same watch as we speak, and even under a 15x loupe, there is not a single bit of lume out of line.
ive been looking at an audi S4, they are in your price range, and you can bring 3 of your friends along and scare the crap out of them on the twisties....
looks perfect to me...
as one dealer whom many people here trust and vouch for said to me, "It is a rep. enjoy it for what it is."
looks like this one is a paperweight
I wish the owner luck with this one. at least no pubic hair in the movement Z.
@jawo, why do you think the seawolf is a 'no'. Other than the hev being ow, I thought it was one of the better reps. I'd love to know more of your thoughts.
i loved the last rig I built. it is my home server now. some day I will build a new home PC. I will upgrade all of our home pcs to window 7 in the fall.
bytor, are you overclocking that card you bought or leaving it stock?
Yea, I need it some days. its funny though, very few programs utilize all the cores, some programs dont even use 100% of one thread. it is nice to be able to truly multi-task.
Very nice mickey. I made a promise to the it guy I wouldn't OC the CPU or the gpu. I'm happy with it's speed. Oh and the rig is silent. Dead silent. Even my watercooled rig you could hear the pump.
Any other super Pi fans out there?
I am an architectural designer. we usually buy off the shelf rigs at $5k every 5 years. we were able to build this one for around that and it is way better than the dell $5k machine.
here is the super pi (sorry its 13 seconds for 1 million places not 12. in comparison my old home rig (water cooled 4ghz p4 with 4 gig of ram) could one muster 19 seconds, this could do 8 calulations simultaniously at 13seonds each) The task manager read )0% cpu load at rest, Ive never had a pc do that before.
