  3. classy freddy. I love jumping hours, I was made to try on a solid gold Breitling flying B on bracelet at the AD the other day. my son though it looked cool, so the salesman pulled it out and made me try it on. made my INGE feel like a cheap plastic swatch. nearly a new day here, but still wearing the exp today and the exp II tomorrow...
  4. I too know the remaining last choices. and I am surprised. good luck to the winner
  5. other than what I posted above, there are only 3 other options... the suspence is killing me. oh and I want pictures of the failures

  11. bezel looks correct, but the case does look thin. I will measure mine, and post it later.
  12. I am convinced that your dial is not a UPO dial. the numbers are so wimpy and the printing is overall poor IMHO. I would talk to your dealer. Good luck
  13. happy holidays all.crazy snow storm here in boston, I will be staying in with the family and making them lobster, fillet, and some yummy sides. And I am not wearing a watch I dont like to cook while wearing a watch. call me crazy...
  14. @ zig, is "floppidy mopidy" a new technical term? man your work is a thing of beauty. I am honored to wear a bit of your work. what mix of lume is that BTW
  15. I was trying to find something that was out of the ordinary as an example, not many people even know who Tom Kuhn is, let alone a SB2. His latest creation is the fat cat, some would say $120 USD for a YoYo is nuts, but they are making 500 and thats it. I dont want one, I have my dream YoYo and the memories that came with it. The YoYo is just the physical embodiment of those feelings and memories. Sorry if I am being too phenomenological. I am just a sucker for the experience.
  16. Tastes change. BUT, even if your taste change, connections you have to THE ITEM allow it to stay priceless to you. This discussion goes beyond watches. As I get older, and I look back at these things and realize that I still have many items in my life that are/were "THE ITEM". For Example, My Tom Kuhn SB2. The best Yo Yo I have ever used. But more important, I received it from Tom himself. It was a great day, and all the feelings make the item that much more important and timeless. Another example, my Citizens Eco Diver that was given to me by my wife on our honeymoon cruise over the millennium, not the best watch by any means, but due to the memories attached to it, I will never part with her. The memories connected to these things solidify its status as THE ITEM for me. I wish you luck in your search.
  17. here are a few pics of mine. also from PT in the spring of 07. Straight from PT with SAR. another with factory SAR, looks less black due to reflections with chief DAR another with chiefs DAR. looks pretty black I am going to be going the gen dial route, it will fix the lume issue, the omega symbol issue, the date window issue, and as crisp as the rep is, the gen is even better. its pricey, but I love my UPO. Good luck with yours.
  18. @dluddy, if you are selling, you have to give this local buy the shot first. that is beautiful my friend. wear her well.
