  1. dluddy looks like my house... good thing since we are like nearly neighbors... I loved the light snow which fell all day today... really makes for a nice holiday...
  2. thanks Dluddy... If river gets back to me, maybe we can do a dual dial swap.....
  3. Id love some more info on this model...
  4. Its my birthday today, so I did a little work on my UPO to get my rubber strap to fit. It is a totally new watch. the stein was a gift for my bday last year. Happy holidays everyone. Oh, dluddy, I want that watch.... I am so jealous of your gmt hand...
  5. Not a fan of the ivory face. I love the white. I tried on a "vintage" white faced exp II yesterday. good price, but had alot of wear and tear. im sure it was never serviced. but, if i held it and my exp Ii in my hands blindfolded, I would say the rep was gen.
  6. I love my Noob from TTK i purchased from him pre skype, but start to finish was a good transaction, and the watch is perfect. just my 2 cents...
  7. dluddy, I too am curious about where you sourced your gen white dial, and how much. They are not easily found, nor are they cheap. but I think they are totally worth it.
  8. thats weird dudro, I am going to go to my source and demand my sleeves... lol
  9. If your center link is gold, it would wear over time. a ss sleeve/bushing would reduce the amount of wear. excellent thought 310jag.

    Proud Dad

Thats awesome man, congrats. I am so proud of my kid... mainly cause hes not bullying the other kids or saying "potty" words... again congrats man, its a great feeling...
  11. dudro, everyone of your links has tubes? I know 100% that the single links I bought are gen. should I go back and ask for the tubes? the bracelet feels fine. no rattle etc. as compared to rep links, everything about it is better: milling tolerance, threads, screw head. its amazing when you compare the ssd links and screws and gen ones.
  12. I have bought gen links for my exp II bracelet, my noob bracelet, and now my ssd bracelet. and none of them have sleeves. is it the last link of the fixed link section of bracelet that has a tube? and is it only on the daytonas? interesting....
  13. well it is for the seeing impared isn't it?
  14. dude, I am going to do that to my SSD... looks awesome
  15. bytor, I have thought about painting the hour markers black on that loose dial. the 12, 6, and 9 markers are black, its just the hour markers that are off. I would need a relume after painting so in the end, if a gen dial fits, I'd rather do that. the case without the movement, came without a movement. I got everything but, down to the movement spacer,p and what I believe is a dial spacer. the hands I received are correct stack hands, I was told no movements were available but everything else was. on the noob case, the bezel is better, the case dimensions are better, the bracelet is better, the clasp is worse, but still good. I am very excited now that I know a gen dial can fit. I am going to beg The Zigmeister when he is taking appointments to try to make it all fit. I hope a better white version comes around. it is an amazing piece, gen or rep. wear yours well, and happy holidays to you and yours.
  16. my wife has cracked 2 platnium rings in 9 years. She has killed a gen tag kirium, and there is no way she is getting my exp II... well if she buys me a gen she can have my rep your watch is great. steal it and wear it well...
  17. my wife loves my exp II, but I told her no way is she wearing it... I guess you are a kinder soul than I am omega...
  18. By-tor, I bought what I pray is a noob factory exp II, everything but movement, from a dealer here. here is a pic of the current case with the date mag way right here is the noob case with much better mag placment another point about the noob case is the better crown placement current case (sorry for the aweful pic) here is the noob case here is the noob dial, everything is pretty good, except the the grayish markers I when i get this all together, I will post some pics as I said. sorry for the hijack, I just love EXP II threads.
  19. By-tor, amazing watch. I have the latest expII with white dial, and felt the same way you did about it. SO I have a noob factory case with gen tube and crown and noob bracelet. I have found a gen dial, and I was just waiting to ask The Zigmeister if it would fit. Your watch has proved it has. I will also have the hands repainted and relumed. Your gmt hand is better than mine, hope The Zigmeister can fix that. anyway, thanks for the amazing pics.
  20. dluddy, wow... ill buy you lunch in boston if you let me wear it while we eat.... just amazing
  21. The Zigmeister, I look forward to our possible future dealings, I have a number of jobs that I want no one else on the planet to work on other than you. I have said it before, and will say it over and over again; you are a master. I am in awe of the work that you do. Happy holidays sir. and thank you
  22. ive contact dawn @ helfands a number of times in the last week, trying to place an order, and they have not responded. on the other hand, when I purchased a sub. tube and gasket set from them via the bay, the responded very very quickly. i think gio said they were expecting more SD bezels in a few weeks, about a week ago. i would keep checking with their store on the bay, and when its availble, they will post it. good luck, and wear the ssd well.
  23. you will need to get a bracelet end piece link, like found on the exp II bracelet. it would be used in place of the extension link assembly. good luck
