  1. a blowtorch! wow, and the movement wasn't damaged? great.
  2. one more question. when your heating the bezel should you remove the movement from the watch?
  3. hi frankt, i'am going to try the heat method next time around. how long do you heat?
  4. i was able to get the insert out, but of course it was destroyed in the process.
  5. i want to be able to swap inserts without destroying them.
  6. hi, not sure what sub it is. i,am pretty sure it has the retaining ring. is there a tool for removing this type of bezel? it is a low priced sub.
  7. hi, i'am a little confused. you say you heated the bezel ring and it came off then you removed the wire? so the bezel ring was not a snap fit?
  8. hi, tried to get the bezel off my sub using the knife procedure, no luck. there are special remover tools made for this. they are pretty expensive. has anyone tried making one ?
  9. hi, this happens 8-10 hrs after winding it and wearing it. at this point it starts running slow 3-5 minutes. this process repeats daily. i've had the watch adjusted/regulated but the same thing happens.
  10. hi all, i bought a submariner for 120$. the watch keeps perfect time for 8 hours then starts to run slow to the tune of 5 minutes. this is repeated. any explanations? i'am assuming a asia 21j or such.
  11. OK, GREAT, WAITING ON THE MOVEMENT FROM COUSINS. WILL POST BACK. THANKS GUYS.
