  1. Wonderful watch. A showcase for your talent Mark! Cheers, M.
  2. Hi Leitz, Nope! No removing... a simple gear replacement... (The second mvmt arrived today) I can get you one clear gear if you want it for replacement. The brevetatto back was bought with the case on ebay (from a nice seller - jetbaker2049 - who is no longer registered). M.
  3. A final pic of the strap after 1 week of sunbathing (on vacation one week ahead of me!). This one will be sewn to the lugs of my 3646 (wonderfully modded by Finepics and one its way back home). BTW does anyone know where to source more of these amazing buckles? M.
  4. The first mod to the mvmt. Spot the difference (just one!)
  5. Parts gathered so far for my 6152 project. Bart's RXW Case / Crown (defective) / Brevettato Clear Back; Bart's Crown Guard "Brev. Ital. 8" modded; Bart's GPF Buckle not modded (yet!!) Markus Crown (with Slpf great help and hard work) Davidsen's RXW Hands; Davidsen's Marina Militare Destro Dial; Armando's Cortebért cal. 616 mvmts (Twins) Watchinger´s special project 26mm Strap distressed and half hand sewn by me. Sorry for the crappy pics. A special thanks goes for Mark, Sigi and Herbert / Watchinger (your straps are simply amazing!!). M.
  6. You have an exquisite taste! The texture looks beautiful... M.
  7. Thats a great idea. I used the watercolor process on the numerals - lower disk only. Please show us some pictures. Cheers, M.
  8. Hi Leitz, Have you seen the one I will sew to the fixed lugs of my 3646 as soon as Finepics sends it back to me? Special order from Watchinger (and post production by myself!) M.
  9. Dear leitztozeiss, Here is the photo of your dial (sorry but I don´t know how to attach a photo to a PM!).
  10. SUPERB work! Represents the highest standard craftsmanship so far and IMHO it won´t get better than this... BTW can we get the strap reference? M.
  11. BTW I will be glad to help if somebody wants to mod a CG. The engraver has archived the engraving registry (modelo) so it will be easy engrave more CGs. I´ll be out on holidays during August but I will be able to help early September. Cheers, M.

  14. Thanks for that tip guys! I didn´t know I had to contribute but I will do that for sure! M.
  15. Can someone please explain how to post on the Watches Section of the Trading Zone? I have tried several times but the reply is always: "Sorry, you do not have permission to start a topic in this forum" Cheers, M.
  16. Thanks Ehto The problem with these guys is that you have to "press" them to exhaustion before they assure you they´ll do a flawless work for you. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of time!!! I had to talk with 5 professionals before I found this guy. M.
  17. Great straps Dani! They´re the best value for your money. I have one MF WWII strap on my fiddy for some months and I find it very wrist friendly and with a very nice ageing process. If you´re on vintage leathers you should try Watchinger stuff also. M.
  18. Paid for it to a seasoned engraver. Expensive but very delicate work. M.
  19. Hi Prem, Mine is a RXW case and it fits very well. My only problem will be installing the cortebert mvmt... The dial fits the mvmt but I will need a spacer ring to fit both to the case. Maybe Finepics can help me with that since he had the same problem with the cortebert mvmt I sold him 3 weeks ago. M.
  20. And then I will ask Finepics for a nice Plexi Crystal as soon as I get my 3646 back from him. Please Mark I am missing it badly! M.
  21. Some pics of the first step for my vintage 6152 Pam - CG mod. Now I have the case ready for davidsen MM dial and hands over one of mine Cal. 616 Cortebérts. Second step will be a GPF Mod. Dep. buckle mod. M.
  22. Congrats C_J... Beautiful pieces! You have PM. M.
