Very Nice ... make sure you upgrade to 10.9, especially on those portables. The power saving features are great.

I returned a PAM rep that would gain 4 hours a day. It took 3.5 months for the turn around but it did happen.

Just got mine back from Zig ... A top notch ETA (according to Zig) that had the date wheel fail. It's now running great and it has been resumed. Pics soon.

Looks like mine just blew up..... I put it on this morning and it would only run for 10 minutes or so. Third piece this year that quit.

Correct!! Some say "it's a nice watch for the money". But actually, it's a nice watch, that's underpriced. I was thinking about a vac 5004 but thought I'd try this first. I'm not disappointed.

Know I've seen people do this in the past, just can't think of their names now, sorry... Without the additional power transfer to the subdial at six, the movement should be a standard a7750 with good reliability when serviced.

Is the "new improved" 29j A7750 any better then the earlier movement? Or does it still have the seconds @ 6 issue?
