You're correct in saying that but I just don't think that the few who would want it would make it worth it for the manufacturers. But it would be cool to see no doubt.
Not to sound like a d!ck but I doubt there is any market for a mini-sub. Sports watches for men are where the money is and they only sell if they're 40mm+ generally.
Just went into a back room where the "good" fakes are. All of the rolexes suffer from horrible magnification of the date cyclops and they were ridiculously overpriced. My sister looked at getting a gold Daytona for a friend and the opening offer from the guy selling it was $170, bad rep, no chrono. I think I'll just wait and buy myself a rep from a TD when I get home.
Just stick with the TDs mate, especially if at all new. They might cost a bit more but at least you have a much better chance of getting what you order, and always have the forum that can help if problems arise.
Thanks mate, If I go past it i'll pop in. I plan to just have a relaxing holiday, but thought if there was something good around I may get myself a watch. Thanks for the help
Hi All,
I'm currently on holiday in Patong Beach, Thailand and I'm wondering if anybody knows of any good places around that sell good replica watches or even possibly good soft goods. From what I've read around here it's all going to be sh!t but just thought I'd ask.
Thanks,
HaydenM
not sure how I feel about the conversion from the original setup but still a gorgeous watch, and a good return on investment for the owner. Sad he will probably not wear it anymore, but perhaps he could buy his james bond watch instead.
If you're wanting a watch look at seiko 5s, they're decent watches (I actually have one on my wrist as I type this). As for reps of DW, never going to happen.
I think this is pretty much wrapped up by get a good movement from a good rep maker and you should be fine, make sure it's all clean and if you want to, keep it serviced.
I've had two reps so far, one the movement died within a month and a bit, it's now dead and in my parts bin.
The other I built myself and it's running like a dream.
Inconsistency and risk can certainly be the name of the game
