I remember watching a young Jacques Villinueve in his Toyota Atlantic days. He was not even the best driver on his team, but it was him that landed the plumb ride in Indy Car, where he won the championship largely based on his consistency rather than race wins. Again, he was offered the plumb ride in F1 with Williams, where he managed to barely win the championship away from the much slower Ferrari. Face it, driver skill has little to do with winning a championship sometimes. Each year there is only one or two cars that have a chance at winning any given event. Though he is talented, I cant help but think that Hamilton would be a mid pack driver with pretty much any other team, with the exception of ferrari.

I'll feel a lot more confident when one of the full watches is returned. Returning useless crystals is one thing, a valuable watch is another.

Guys, advising the OP to have this watch serviced is ridiculous. The ST19 comes properly oiled (according to The Zigmeister) and should not require service for five years. Enjoy your watch mate.

Exactly. People just love this conspiracy crap. Glock slowed down on the last few turns simply because it was pissing rain on the back half of the track only. He was able to pass Hamilton on the front half because it was still relatively dry there. End of story. The better man won the championship, but not by much.

Come on, Hamilton played it perfectly. He stayed out of trouble, didn't try to push beyond the 5th position, and made the proper decision on tires in the closing laps. He did everything a champion should have done, and the result speaks for itself.

I was rooting for Massa, but am thoroughly disappointed at the directors choice of cameras on the last lap. The championship was riding on the Hamilton / Glock battle and the director cuts away to show Massa cruising alone arount the last half of the circuit. The reason nobody cans say why Glock lost 18 seconds is because NOBODY SAW IT!!!!!!

The slide rule markings not going all the way to the dial is such a blatant flaw on this one. You see that on the cheapest canal street reps. Aside from that, it is a really beautiful watch. I love the silvery white face!

Don't believe Josh & King's specs, they are often wrong. This looks to be exactly the same size as the gen, Given they have they have basically the same movement, Its easy to determine size by the placement of elements on the dial. If the watch was smaller, the subdials would look too outboard, and the numerals would have to be smaller. Those reversed subdial rings would drive me nuts though.

That appears to be a 28K DG4813. Very similar to 21k DG2813, but they are always silver from my experience while the 28k is always gold.
