  1. Welcome aboard! I'm in Toronto, where in Southern Ontario are you?
  2. Yes, a lello datewheel would go nicely on the 6-9-12 versions. See above. The 3-6-9 versions have this, and I believe the TT 6-9-12s have it as well, although I believe they are incorrectly marked casebacks (wrong model number). I'm pretty sure Josh carries them, but they aren't cheap, close to $900 as I recall. Just the pics, the subdials are recessed, with a pieban shape on the surface. Very accurate when compared to the gen. Not sure which model you are interested in. Unfortunately there isn't a perfect rep of any of the three navi models (Fighters, 2004 Navi and TT Old Navitimer). The TT version is most accurate and the Fighters model is the least true to the genuine.
  3. Also, even though officially it is a new model, it really is just a continuation of the now defunct chrono avenger.
  4. it may appear that the Skyland is just another Breit, but in reality there are a lot of us who have been awaiting a SS addition to the Avenger line that doesn't approach 50mm in diameter. The Chrono Avenger is nice, but titanium is not the most attractive of metals IMO. At 45mm, the Skyland is perfect for most size wrists. Agreed, there is nothing new in the design, but its a good design that many of us have been unable to wear.
  5. Thats how I did it and I had no problems.
  6. Pugwash's tutorial is here... http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...36&hl=bezel
  7. You might want to search for a photographic guide on removal of the PO bezel that Pugwash did a while back. The whole procedure was very simple for me after following his instructions.
  8. firstly, lets identify it correctly as a Seagull movement (not Lemania). Unfortunately because this is the default movement for any manual wind chronograph that is replicated, the watches that it goes in do not tend to be that accurate. The Speedmasters are a good example of this, as the subdial spacing is way off, as is the function. I love it in my Pam 192, but again subdial spacing is way off. In other reps like the Broad Arrow, it lacks a date function. But I will say that the 192 is probably one of the best Seagull examples there is. At least the function of the subdials is accurate. Unfortunately the beautiful movement is hidden by a titanium caseback, but still a lovely watch! REP GEN
  9. The AD across the street from me has the black steel version for $4600 CDN in the window. Its interesting, but I prefer the SS version much better. Its slightly larger than my chrono avenger, yet much smaller than the super avenger. I can't wait for a rep of this one!
  10. That is definitely a gen. I have seen several examples with the straight "S". The lume sits flat in the markers and the rider tabs have an arch shape on the top surface, so I would say without doubt that this is a gen.
  11. I know that The Zigmeister offers a service for cheiftang's AR runs, where he will remove the crystal, remove any AR, forward to chieftang, then reassemble and return to you. Not sure what he's charging, but you may want to contact him.
  12. Now you're just being a tease
  13. Love the Evo! @VB, what the heck is going on in your avatar Victoria??
  14. Im not fond of faux chrono watches, but it is a classy looking piece. Is it fantasy or is it based on a real watch?
  15. Happy New Year Ken, I'm still 6 hours away. Admin, thanks for all the hard work, I can honestly say that RWG has left the competition in the dust after starting the year as probably the 2nd favorite site. To all others, Happy new year, and I only wish the best for all of you in the coming year.
  16. As I recall, The Zigmeister had done this mod using a complete ETA 7750 and an old 21k asian 7750 (modified to work as a 7753). He uses the transfer gears from the asian, and the rest comes from the eta.
  17. Christmas is a sentimental time, so I'll be wearing the watch that means the most to me. This is the one that started it all for me, introduced me to new friends and has never ceased to fascinate me with its beautiful complexity. Cheers to all my friends, Neil, Pug, By-Tor, Admin, Ken, Two-Tone, Zig, Stephane, etc, etc. You guys have all made my year happier, and certainly more interesting. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, and may the new year bring you all health and happiness.
  18. Put it this way, when its perfectly legal to import one watch at a time, why would anybody want to risk bringing in 50 watches (which is illegal) to set up a business. It just wouldn't make any sense.
  19. Im from T.O. as well. No longer any Canadian dealers, but take heart. You live in a country with probably the most liberal rep importing laws on the planet. Several years on the boards and have not once seen anyone lose a watch coming into Canada.
  20. Hey TTK, Kingston is about 2 hours up the road from me. Do you want me to pick up your cash for you?
  21. hmm, my watchsmith told me that a running watch will last longer because the movement of the parts keeps itself lubricated. He said an idle movement will tend to stiffen up. That may have been just an opinion, but I would tend to agree with TTK in that friction is the catalyst for wear. An idle watch obviously has no friction, thus no wear.
  22. Thanks TWP. Luckily I'm one of the lucky ones that has the old style Ti/Seagull 192. When I saw this one on both sites I got a little excited because people are always offering to buy mine! Too bad because IMO this is one of the nicest Pams around!
  23. Which brings up the question, what was the worst rep of 2007? My vote would be for the 7750 powered 192. Saw one of these recently and it looked terrible. The dial has a gloss finish and the tachymeter ring is flat and matte. Very unimpressive. Thanks mate for the borrowed pic, but I know you sold it already
  24. On closer inspection it appears to be brushed stainless steel, not titanium. Still nice though. But $328 + shipping?
  25. On both Josh and Andrew's sites, the 192 is listed in Titanium with Lemania (Seagull) movement. It was added in August 2007, so I'm wondering if its available again? I know there was an inferior 7750 version around, but I hadn't heard anything about this one. http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=1853
