  1. I've always considered it in-house as Omega and ETA are both owned by Swatch.
  2. Weird post is weird. They most likely use the same drills in the Ford factory as they do in the Rolls Royce factory. Does that make them equal products? They're just tools.
  3. The rep factories are inflating their prices harder than the gen factories. It kind of puts me off of purchasing more reps, and pushes me towards saving up for another gen.
  4. It really isn't, trust me. The TD's don't even offer the straps with white stitching. The only reason that strap is worth buying imo is if the included deployment clasp is any good.
  5. All the time. At this point I only have rep variations (color/size) of some gens that I own because owning a gen twice gets costly. Except for one rep Rolex but I don't really wear it. I don't know, reps got me into the watch hobby but once you have a gen on your wrist... It does change your feelings towards reps.
  6. The guys at RG seem to think it's swiss: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=249829(he started an identical thread there).
  7. But there was nothing to take and the postal office documents prove that. It would be a different story without those documents. Eh well, I suppose there's a reason he's not a TD on other boards, besides the cartel stuff.
  8. Signed for or not, the post office included documents that the package was already empty when it arrived in the ukraine.
  9. It's a BP, Noob never made the titanium PO. Which is not a bad thing, as Noob spare PO bezels are unobtainable. Try asking the dealers if they can source a spare bezel. If you're a bit handy you can replace it yourself.
  10. That's much more professional than I expected it to be. But no one seems to be using loupes. Someone needs to get these guys and girls some loupes so they can finally allign the logo's and markers on our reps somewhat straight.
  11. Then you're lucky because the "swiss" movements the chinese are putting in reps are utter crap and no more than rebuild, used ETA's these days.
  12. New rubber straps are ugly though. Gray dial on the old style orange rubber would look fantastic.
  13. New Titanium Ploprof. I want it. I need it. But still disappointed that a new PO hasn't been shown. Perhaps in the coming days.
  14. Can't really say which one you're talking about without pictures, but there's a very cheap version of the GoodPlanet and the BP version. The BP version being the better and most expensive one. The movement doesn't look good, but the 2836 is a workhorse. You're going to have to live with the pearl being off, or purchase a gen one.
  15. That is indeed very vague. The dealer websites have all the technical specifications you need. What other information do you require?
  16. Asian. There was a time when you got full ETA's but these days "swiss" is mostly just a mix between asian and ETA parts and you have to cross your fingers that it's been put together somewhat well. It's not worth the extra price imo. Maybe if they'd put in an SW200.
  17. In my opinion QC pics are just for checking if you have the right watch, and that it has no major faults/damages. QC pics are plenty clear, you can see what you are getting. If it's just that little corner that's bothering you, seems like an easy thing to do yourself.
  18. TiPO on Omega rubber. It's not as comfortable as an Isofrane imo, keeps tilting away from me although it's well adjusted
  19. Mine's 45mm. I believe all the blue one's (ti-chrono-gmt) are made by BP so quality should be more or less the same.
  20. By the way nanoman, is a complication like GMT or chrono a requirement? I have a regular blue titanium PO and I love it. The case is finished to the same standard as the steel models, just the bracelet is a bit cruder finished. I've been wearing mine on an Isofrane for a week now.
  21. Well, that's good and bad news. Good because they accurately repped it, bad because 21mm is a very shitty size to find straps for. Thank you for measuring and confirming
  22. It is 22mm for a 45,5mm. The 42 is 20mm and the 43mm case is 21mm.
  23. But 22mm is the incorrect lug width. So either Josh is wrong when saying "correct lug width", or wrong when saying "22mm". Either way, it's not right what he says. You have one, if you measured it you could provide nanoman with the right information.
  24. Seriously, never do that. That way you just screw other members as well. Try to work it out without involving paypal.
