  1. You wouldnt be the same "luxureplica" on iOffer would you, offering "Swiss" 7750 chrono's for $399? http://www.ioffer.com/selling/luxureplica
  2. ooh ouch :-( Hope you get better soon, it's as scary as hell the worry an eye injury brings. I took a rather nasty hit when I was 16 and never felt a pain like it. Luckily for me, with a good doctor, it was fine within a month :-)
  3. Thanks for reply freddy. I thought that about the 12 setting as well but it just doesn't seem to do anything, I'll have a play around with the settings for a couple of days to try and find out what everything does.
  4. I have just been given a Dulwich Design winder like this No instructions and no mains adapter, (currently running on batteries) and if I'm honest not much idea how to operate it. Each winder has two control [censored]s with three positions, the top one is marked "0", "on" and "12" and the bottom one is marked "A", "B" and "C", a single led on each control panel glows either red or green depending on the various [censored] positions. If you've got one, had one or have any idea how this works, please help Thanks EDIT: apparently you cant type k n o b
  5. Check out this shot of the back of the watch, borrowed this pic from Perfect Clones. It looks like the end pieces are secured to the case by screws not spring bars, anyone concur? Really nice BTW, definitely on my list.
  6. If you mean feedback on the dealer check the dealer review section, plenty of reviews there (PT =Precious Time)
  7. I'm sure there are a few people called "Richard Head" who would agree
  8. Check to make sure that the screw securing the rotor is properly tightened, if not and the rotor is loose it could be coming into contact with the movement holder. Also if its loose the gear wheel on the underside of the rotor might not be meshing properly with the autowind gears on the bridge underneath.
  9. So do you mean that you have two watches, each with a GMT function and neither GMT function now works? Sort of defeats the object, don't you think?
  10. My doctor just diagnosed me with an acute case of deja vu!!
  11. UPDATE Happy to report this problem is now solved. As The Zigmeister suggested a close inspection of the pallet revealed the problem, the balance spring had come out of the regulator, see picture, more than likely due to some less than gentle handling by me. Anyway I put it back where it should be and carefully placed the balance assembly back into the movement and everything is now working as it should Picture borrowed from the TZ course material and the regulator to which I refer is the part numbered 6.
  12. Feeling the love yet CGJ?? Close the door on your way out.
  13. Thanks for your input The Zigmeister, I'll take another look and as you say it's all a good learning experience.
  14. Thanks for the replies. @carlsbadrolex: I did eventually get a reply from Cousins and I have since bought the part, thanks a lot for the offer though. @The Zigmeister: even with the ETA fork installed I still have the syptoms described in my first post, any thoughts?
  15. I think it's 23mm, but you can fit a 24mm strap - just a bit more snug
  16. I feel that before I continue this thread I need to make the following statement. I do not watch "My Super Sweet 16" as rule, but have seen various episodes while staying with my girlfriend, last night's episode on MTV, happened to be on while I was waiting for dinner to cook. Please read on For those of you fortunate enough to never have seen "My Super Sweet 16", allow me to first fill you in. It's a 30 minute Clearasil style advert, that follows the shallow lives of odious, obnoxious, spoilt, usually fat (the girls anyway), camp (the boys usually), snooty and sissy children, whose parents hard earned cash (or more likely hard won lotto win or compensation payout) is frivolously spent on an elaborate and tacky coming of age party, where the single objective is to show off this sickening amount of wealth to hordes of school
  17. Check this one from Silix, almost indistinguishable from the real thing. http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1799
  18. Well done guys, I was away last night and so had no internet access. Hope this scumbag gets his comeuppance
  19. No difference. They're basically the same movement, the 2824 is date only and the 2836 is day/date and they both sweep at 28800bph.
  20. Could someone who's handled the MBTW Chrono take a quick look at these. The sunken date wheel's made me go hmmm a bit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MONTBLANC-TIMEWALKER...1QQcmdZViewItem
  21. lol brilliant! And you just know he got that watch from a seized shipment and probably the suit from Kenberg
