Well here is my 2 cents, i browse the gen sales forums/pages for days in the last week as im in front what looks to be like a gen roli purchase also ... from what i seen is that is a good deal for EU prices also is serviced and all papers boxes ! Second i love the idea what a nice gesture im sure he will be thrilled Regard Laz

After 3 days wearing the Daytona i realized today that if i don't switch it with something else its going to be permanently glued to my wrist ... there fore i put on the good old trusty ... my white 1680 MBW sub regards Laz

I had a hard day at work ... we had some education sessions for the partners and in the middle some deal went bad ... don't u just hate that kinda days But around noon got a call from reception that they delivered a package for me ... this could mean only one think ... White SS Daytona aka. "The Traveler" arrived ... no time to lose i thought so i set the time, slapped it on an instant love story PS ... Stephane i dont know about ure watch regulating skills but i have set time on this around noon and as i write this it maybe lost 1 sec on me in 6 hours ? Maybe its the air here Of to BP dinner soon, guess what ill be wearing ... LAZ

Hello all. Thx for the coments! One thing to be clarified is "YES THERE IS NO GLASS VISIBLE ON THE PICS AS THERE IS NO GLASS INSTALLED" I know some of the members realized that and commented in a sense of the joke for the ones that missed u can see i wrote that the glass is actually on the way from Poland and not present on the picture! All do as im familiar with K2222 work i doubt it will look much different once installed @ Francisco ... regarding fitting a Gen dial i cant comment but i hope Takashi can sheed some light on the subject ... Taka if ure around feel free to drop in and comment on that ,thx. @ musicale ... I think By-Tor is right the HE valve possition is accurate on the Chrono model from what i have hear and seen that was also the case on the older now discontinued and rare non chrono model ... @ By-Tor ... yea i know that AR aint correct for this piece but the wave dial patern will pop out so nice on this one dont u think Ill keep u updated and post some pictures of assembled watch when it arrives ... regards Laz

Hi to all fellow RWG members. Well i been wanting one of this watches since i was in high school ... funny i remember going to an AD checking it out after school and after the 3rd time stopped since the sales guy was giving me the bad eye Sure hi figures out im not gonna pick up the watch of that caliber and price with my high school allowance money IT started well not so good to say the least ... I saw one of our members selling his smp crono and as i did buy from him before i jumped on the offer ... turned out i have better not ... what was explained to me a perfect runing watch with just a miner crown issue turned ot to be a completely defective movement ... im not pointing fingers and have trust in this person that he thought the problem was minor but that was not the case ... but hey u gotta be prepared on things like this. Watch was extremly hard to wind was slippin gears and the PW was poor ... not good One of the things was also claimed an ETA DW swap was made that gain turned not to be true ... also maybe seller did not knew about it again no pointin fingers from my side The watch looks were fine do had a reasonable wear on it but it added character to it and i liked it the way it was. The GTG where all the things started to evolve : I was in Brussels and boy that was a blast as u all well know ... i did not take my SMP Crono with me as hey it was in a bad shape and not reliable. While in i think Kelsters room geeking on some watches Takashi pulled out a gen tritium smp chrono dial U can imagine i was on him like a fly on the khm khm and we started talking about possibilities of my smp crono to be upgraded ... When i came back home we continued the discussion and in first week of march i thing the watch was off to him ... THE Real deal : After a week i have received pretty much the news i described in the first part of this by now im sure a boring story the question arized to continue or just to forget everything and chalked it down as another miss and fail thing. The watch needed a new movement i have no idea where to source a fresh asian 7750 High Beat and more important low on funds ... Takashi take control at this point in time and offered me new one never used for a really ( i cant reveal the sum hehe) friendly price. Oka ... and we went on time passed and my funds got better so he ordered a gen. set of tube and crown from Cousins UK ... He contacted me to let me know that this might take up from 3 to 4 weeks so we decided in the mean time to ship the Christal of to K2222 the magic AR guy for a makeover while we wait for the parts ... tik tak tik tak ... Today received an chat from taka that the watch is assembled all we need is to put the christal on the top of it and that one is in the mail on the way back from PL as i write this . good end is a happy end ey =? Thx to Takashi for all his work and patience with me helping me get my high school sweethart SPECS AND PICS SMP standard chrono rep case i guess Upgraded double AR glass done by K2222 (not on pics as still somewhere between GER and PL ) heheh Gen Omega SMP Chrono dial with tritium lume Gen tube and Crown Combo New asian 7750 28k BPM movement installed ETA DW swap - this time for real Regards Laz

Hmm i was always curious about the rep pam cases i have a 005 and an 111h but since the crown mech. is not srew down one im not sure i woud be putin them near water ... also they wear so nice on leather the ruber strap is a no go for me i had it on yeterday on my 005 but swaped it in 15 minutes flat Someone here ever swimed/showerd with a rep pam ? Laz

I think people are not looking from the technical standpoint but from the visual one ... as i do agree that is a state of the art movement i must also agree that that is a state of the art ugly looking piece ... just my 2 cents Laz
