I dont care that it is not a "real" model as I just enjoy the beauty and that the functions work. I dont travel in cirlces that anyone would detect. Any mods you would suggest

I don't want to trash anyone but I am a Noob and have been in contact with a very trusted dealer (based on this forum) for the last several days and need some help. In short after many emails discovering that the watches on the site were not available I decided on a watch. I was sent instructions on how to purchase through paypal and that through currency conversion it was more then was advertised on the site. After several emails showing the converstion rate I was told it gets rounded up to the next 5 of the foreigh currency. Should have been my first clue that this may not be the best dealer but it turned out only to be $3 USD. But in principal I was concerned. So I followed the complicated process (I understand the need) and paid for the watch. The site lists the whole QA process of photographing the watch and showing how the movement gets collaborated. I hear nothing for a day. I then ask the question where are the pics. I then am told that the watch came in with a finish that was a different shade and it was rejected by the dealer. I was asked to pick another watch which I did. I have not heard anything. I checked my bank account and it was debited for the amount of the watch. It is a expensive watch. So now I am in limbo. I am not sure why you would debit the account without having the actual watch. I am very concerned now!!!! I am not sure if this is a scam or just bad business practice. I would like to have someone mediate for me in private and if it is a scam expose it publicly after the proper investigation is done. Please advise.

I have been a Swiss Watch fanatic ever since my dad gave me his gen Rolex Oyster as a child. I have been dreaming about Patek, Vacheron, etc for years. Picked up a few bad rep's in NYC over the years when I worked there. I feel like I reached watch nirvana since discovering this site. I have been pouring over all these posts trying to learn and maybe one day attempt to build my own. Until then I am going to buy. I have been idealing with some of the dealers that are talked about on this forum. It has been a little frustrating trying to get the watch I want due to a number of reasons (manufacturing defects, discontinued, etc). In some cases I have paid for a watch and later find out it was rejected by the dealer. I am not going to trash anyone but I have gone through about 30 emails and still don not have the watch. I would love to have someone either sell me one out of there collection or point me in the right direction. I am looking for a either Rose or Yellow Gold Patek, Vacheron, A Lange Sohn, with some complications (tourbillon, moonphase, both, etc), exposed back movement, and as close to gen as possible. Now I know these are difficult to come by but if anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear it.
