  1. Some time after I got a Skyland Avenger V2 rep one end of the pin that holds my clasp together broke off and I've been stuck with it since. I'm not using the bracelet as of current, but I am interested in getting the bracelet restored to "like new". I think that this will require a good re-polish job as well as fixing the damn clasp! I have attached some pictures below so you can see the problem for yourselves. Do you guys have any suggestions for how I should go about getting this broken clasp resolved? Thank you.

I would put this in the repair forum, but I'm not a platinum member :(

  2. Ken, some of those are pretty nice. I'm only in need of five and right now I'm really emotionally attached to the Rainer box  :clap2:

Marti, I can't find his email or a website...Is there anyway you could track that down for me? That would be sweet!  :notworthy:

  3. My collection of both genuine and rep watches is growing rather quickly and I am in need of a watch box. I see that the Rainer watch box is rather nice and I'm wondering if anyone know's the website where I can order one of the Rainer watch boxes?

The one that's caught my eye is this box:

  4. There's a space between the top of the bracelet and where the bracelet meets the case on both sides of the case. Although the spacing on one side is less prominent than on the other, I am curious as to how this can be fixed? In a previous thread, one of our members stated that I could instal 1.8mm spring bars and the problem would be fixed. If this is true, does anyone know where I could find some 1.8mm spring bars? Also, I measured the width of where the bracelet attaches to the case and my measurement was about 22mm wide. Can someone confirm that width for me as correct or not? Any advice is much appreciated.

I have attached a few images to help with the general intuition of the problem.

    Thanks!

  5. So I got my watch from Andrew and it's awesome. The pearl was off like some of you said and it really bothered me. I was gonig to send it back but he offered to send me a replacement bezel insert with a better pearl free of charge. No wonder he has such a good reputation around these parts. Anyway, this is my first Omega and one of the big selling points for me is that it is brushed steel. I have never owned a replica with an ETA movement and this seems to keep much better time than my A7750's in a few other reps that I have hanging out.

I have attached a pic so you guys can see. This watch isn't really heavy like some of the more meaty Panerai reps. Also, the AR is beautiful on this watch and I think that the AR, more than anything, makes this watch appear genuine. I have attached a pic of the beautiful AR.

  6. Are you guys sure that there is something wrong with the pearl? Could it be the lighting instead?

In the following image the pearl does look like it could be pushed in a bit on one side:

However, in the following image it looks like the pearl is evenly flush on both sides:

Now you guys have me all worried that I accepted a rep with a bad pearl :(
