I bought this years ago from this forum and hoping someone whos been around for years may remember it... Its a prince date pre-tiger chrono with gen dial and hands, crown in a Daytona case. there were some other mods to it but cant remember them all. If the builder is still around.. or someone remembers it I am hoping you could jog my memory on it, and if I am correct that it was a gen movt, dial and hand set.

In my absence form the forum I had a bad car accident and my memory is not what it use to be.. Sorry for the photos, I had to compress them hard to get them to upload..

I have been away for ages. Life got serious lol. Wife, kids, work, back to uni, etc....

I moved house a couple years ago and this past weekend was binning a whole lot of stuff, found a sealed box some of my old watch stuff.  

Unfortunately I dont have time for reps anymore and have moved on to new hobbies. How re-engaged with the community would I need to be to post stuff in the sales section, and how active is it?  I dont want to break any rules. Hopefully its okay to ask that question here.  I wont detail what I have to sell but one item is a gen sealed movement and a couple of watches.

I see there is a membership structure now I will look into, and happy to pay some money for the short term, but keen to understand the dynamics of sale.  The part I was planning on selling has not come up in ages (2017).  Would that be an artifact of low interest in parts these days?

I have a inbox full of PM's. Some sale related, some questions asked of me and general conversations.

Lies and bullS*#t from a business unit located out of town has jeperdised the employment for almost 40 of our FTE staff. I have been called in to try and salvage the contract and to my great horror watches are no longer featuring in my day to day life.

I have a major favor to ask of a US based member. I purchased an item on the bay (I swore I never would, but I did) and saw it was only to US based buyers. I took a gamble that I would not win, and if I did I could negotiate shipping to NZ. failing that I hoped I could Triangle ship via a good friend in DC.

Well turns out my Friend in DC has been re-located to London and is all but gone already!

Is there anyone who can help with triangle shipping?

Now that is very sound advice. I would follow that process personally. I also know that I would be in for gst/vat or your local variant of sales tax. (If it was coming to nz that is) check before you ship. Check check check

Depending on the condition, anything between USD 1500 to 2000 would be fair for a Speedy Date. I'm not seeing heavy wear in those shots, so 1800 seems fair.

Hey gents. Let me start by saying u have never really been an omega fan. This has changed recently after handling some nice omega.

I am giving this speedy a test drive from a jeweler. He is not an omega ad and got this as a trade. Price is reasonable (I think) but he does not have the papers as yet.

I ha e not yet seen a good rep of these on the sites apart from the sold out version but just wanting to be sure before going to an omega ad for an assessment

It feels gen however the noisy rotor give me some hesitation....

What do you reckon? Gen? If so is 1800 a fair price? I have converted nz dollars to USD for this total

Looks good but like all BO1 reps I have seen QC pics of the pearl is oh so slightly off. It's a minor but the first thing that I see when I see one of these. Yours is not so bad.
