Where can I find a gen chrono end for the seamaster Chrono rep?
-
Whats weird is it looks like they squeezed the intial link (that came with the watch) into this end link. If I look at the link cloosely, it looks streched
On the other end I left the link in. Notice how it does not want to move at all. I have to apply force to move it:

Hi, now I have another problem...
The bracelet seems to not fit into the end link:
The only thing I can think of is removing the end link and heating it with a heatgun. Is that a bad idea? How can I get it in. PLease help
-
I will try taking it to a watch repair shop tommorow. I hope he will be able to remove it because i really like this bracelet

There is no hole on the other side. It is closed off like the link to the left of it

Please help. My new watch bracelet arrived today but one of the screws will not come out. It turns fine but it just keeps turning and wont come out like the others. What can I do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

After smelling Floris London for the first time at a London airport back in 1993 when I was about 5 or 6 years old, I haven't smelled anything better!
The small blue bottle was the original bottle from 1993. It was named "Cefero" and then eventually they created a new scent and put the name "Cefiro". Which confused me a bit but after having contacted them, they contacted one of their old laboratories to find the formula for it and it turns out that the 1993 Cefero is actually "JF" in the current Floris line. So JF will always be my fragrance of choice

But including the model number (2201.50.00) is quite misleading I think. Also it says "Place of Origin: Switzerland"...that cant be right

Thanks!
Also, the start button on the chronograph is VERY tight. Is it normally like this on all the SMP chrono reps? Its not that much of a problem for me but I was just wondering

Its for a Seamaster 300m Chrono dial

I charged my lume in direct sunlight for about 1 minute (through a window, not being outside in the sunlight). I then walked into a pitch black dark closet and tested the lume intensity. It does glow very brightly but begins to fade within seconds. After about 1.5 to 2 minutes, I cannot tell the time anymore

Hmm I see. I suppose until I have the watch relumed, I should carry around a UV flashlight. Would any UV pocket flashlight work fine to recharge the lume?
-
Also please understand that I am only a broke college student and do not have the money to buy nice expensive chrono watches like a lot of people here. Ive only wanted the SMP non-chrono watch since 1997 but I just didn't know that they made replica for it until very recently. And I was just planning on buying the gen in a few years when I have a real job and career.

This was my very first real rep as well as my very first chrono watch. And I would not have just returned it as defective I would have e-mailed dealer first if the response here was something else. And by real rep I mean with a working chronograph. The other rep I have of this watch does not have a working chronograph. And I only purchased that non chronograph rep just last month. The rep from last month month was the first rep I ever purchased
So in summary, yes I am a noob when it comes to chrono watches and reps. I only joined this forum about 1.5 weeks ago because I was after one watch (the non chrono version of the SMP) but after reading some of the thread in this forum I realized that the chrono version would be a better way to go

Hello, I was wondering is it normal for the watch lume to fade in seconds after being recharged? After about 1.5 minutes I cannot see the lume anymore
