If mine was sick and I didn't have the money I'd take a loan from a loan place or otherwise and work my ass off to pay it back not join a bunch of forums and ask for money. It's pathetic in my opinion. If you couldn't get a loan and had to put the dog down then that's certainly incentive to work hard and try and change your financial position so that you never have to make that difficult choice again.
