What a shame to put a CG that fits so poorly on any Panerai watch.

If it is fake, the seller may not know it's fake. It may also only be partially fake. Maybe the original CG was lost and they slapped on a replacement. However, I also think the crystal looks terrible. Not clear enough for gen.

It's definitely not the way it's screwed on. The surface of the CG that mates with the case was not made at exactly the same contour as the surface of the case. In particular, the ends do not curve down enough or the inner wall of the CG is slightly to large which causes the ends to stick up. I see this on the rep cases all the time, especially the titanium ones. I filed mine down to match better which is why I noticed it and immediately thought rep

I'm not a buyer, just thought the CG case mismatch was just too off to be gen. Interesting to know it does happen in some gens.

Just saw this on WUS and I noticed how poorly the crown guard fit the case. Notice the end of each side of the CG is not flush with the case. Doesn't seem gen. I also thought the crystal looked too cloudy to be gen. Is this a gen watch with a crappy build or fake? http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=2464106

New KH strap.

Gen dial will work with either Swiss or Asian 7750 but as Tom mentions you need the hands to match the movement or will need to mod the hands to fit
