  1. I would NEVER EVER trust my credit card details to some anonymous guy in Asia that makes a living selling illegal goods.

The only companies that do have my details are Amazon and Apple. For everything else (eBay, Steam, etc.) I use PayPal or virtual credit cards.

  2. The only times I used a 'trusted dealer' (Silix) there were issues with each order. The Cartel Dealers seem to be going through a rough period in terms of reliability at the moment, so not exactly good advice...

Being a newbie myself and reading that comment from a longtime member with 10.000+ posts got me really confused now. If suggesting to stick to the TDs is not good advice then what are we left with when someone asks if it's ok to buy from realswissAAAreps.com. We can't just tell them to guess or to use the force.

I don't know if the second part of your reply was aimed at me but I made no comments regarding WU or PayPal. I actually agree with you 100%.

  3. Asians generally are too nosy for their own good. (...) I can say the same for Polish people to a lesser extent
I think we better steer back to the subject... This is getting somewhat uncomfortable. We went from talking about being called out, to discussing the behavior of a certain race in general and now our friend here wants to be more specific and bring the Polish to the conversation. Next thing you know someone is posting how Jews are this, Gypsies are that, Catholics are something else... Please people, a little more respect.

About the subject in question, I've never been called out mainly because I only wear Panerais and, as someone said before, most people even (watch lovers) are not familiar with the brand. The only people I know that can recognize a PAM are family and close friends and they know I collect reps and got to know the brand through me so... :)

  4. I think everyone knows he means watcheden not watchden. Why the hate on noobs? Talking about not feeling welcomed...

You do realise a lot of scam rep sites rely on expired domains and people misstyping URLs right? One single letter makes the difference between a TD and a scammer. You can't be too careful. Don't assume anything.

  5. It's a bit farfetched to expect a detailed review and comparison in a watch replica forum. You'll either be ignored or end up with a loooong thread of fanboys flaming each other.

If you want to make an informed decision you'll be better off using Google. Check for Walt Mossberg's reviews at the WSJ.
