I'm a dealer at a casino and this guy who plays a lot of baccarat always has some nice looking watches. A couple of weeks ago he's playing on my table so I had some time to check out this watch he had on because it looked very familiar. So I ask him "Is tat a Tag?" and he says yes and shows it to me. Turns out it's the Tag Carrera Chrono that just came out recently with the black face and SS band. So when I went on break I showed him my Rep Cartier Roadster and asked him where he got his Tag from thinking maybe he orders from the dealers here too. He told me that he just returned from Hong Kong and Bangkok and he bought a bunch of stuff. I remember he said the Mont Blanc Timewalker, Ingeneur and some others that didn't ring a bell. So I ask him how much he paid for these watches and he told me "about $30-40 dollars each." He's a Chinese guy, I don't know if that makes a difference, but I was wondering if he could have got a great deal because he is not an obvious "foreigner"? I told him next time he goes to let me know so I could give him some money to pick up some stuff for me, but he said he only goes about once a year. So the question is Is this possible or is this guy just talking B.S. ? What do you think?
