  1. Hey Legend thanks for sharing! I absolutely luv your AP ceramic diver! Which dealer did you source it from? And why did you switch out the movement? Is the Asian 2824 not as good? I'm still tore between the Carbon and Ceramic diver. I really don't need two divers atm so I'll have to pick one! I noticed you have the correct larger crown on yours as well. Did the factory fix this flaw?

  2. Interesting topic gents! I would agree PAM was flailing prior to Sly's interest. He brought the brand back in a big way. I still think the loyal panerista's will continue their interest but there's only so much that can be said and done with their simple design. Just sit back change a strap or two and enjoy!

  3. Good topic! I've been in the rep game over 20yrs and I'd say yes reps are very reliable if taken care of. I still have my first Rolex Yachtmaster rep made of painted brass! I bought it in NYC on Canal street. It's got a very cheap 21j movement. The paint has worn off inside the bracelet but...IT STILL RUNS! I've taken it in the shower and swimming as well, sooooo with that being said I own over 20 reps and have yet to have one fail. I rotate them weekly so one doesn't get all the wear. I've never serviced any of my reps or gens and they still run flawlessly. I never measured the time accuracy however they don't appear to be off more than a minute or two. Like other members have said...go for the high quality reps if you're looking for longevity and I would disagree with some who say you couldn't pass on a rep to your kid. TC builds are great and I think could be passed on for decades!

  4. Unfortunately I had to sell it to clear some funds. I wanted to fix my TC Sub and mod my Panerai.

But I think this was one of the most nicest watches I owned. Its really something different than a standard SS watch...

Wow wish I would have known I would have bought it! I'm in the market for that or the AP ceramic diver with orange accents.

  5. Let's play nice fellas! Save that for repgeek. This is the nicest forum on the net we are gentlemen here. Momma always told me if you don't have anything nice to say.......don't say nothing at all!

BTW seems KW is winning out on most forums.

  6. May God be with you Cats! Sorry to hear of your situation but you can beat this! The cure is in the food NOT chemo. Start by removing all sugars from your diet. Cancer needs sugar to thrive and survive, without it the cancer dies. Also sugar suppresses the immune system and you need your immune system to be strong as possible. I work in holistic alternative medicine and if I can further help please feel free to PM me. Look into the ketogenic diet as well. Lastly watch a free movie available on YouTube "dying to have known" it explains a lot on cancer and treatment. GOD bless you and heal you brother.

  7. There is lot of cosmetically nice looking and very gen like Radiomir`s available. They all also have one flaw- bad crown tube... tube threads will wear off sooner or later.

yes it's true my Pam 292J tube stripped and was repaired by member besides that great watch.
