It'll make them look silly I'm sure! Loved doing that with my old carb cooper - but the big boys would catch you up on the straights - you got a giant killer in the right hands though.

I'd got the eibachs pro kit too but opted for the bilstiens as the konis I had on rattled on the top rear suspension bolt and drove me nuts - apparently the koni shocker eyelet is a ball hair too big in diameter. It's great when you take the [censored] out of big cars - love it too

I don't care about the dials either, this is a beauty with loads going for it case, insert, hands, the fact it's smaller is even better news for me as my moonie 42mm is really my limit as far as big watches go.

Cheers, am I right in saying by your pics its sec at 9 like the gen in that regard. I have gen speedy and one of the biggest annoyances apart from the obvious subdial spacing is, to me, the thickness of the case. The gen is do much thinner and finer rather than chunky, and why they never got the bezel insert correct the dividing lines between the numbers are almost touching the outer edge . This doesn't seem to happen on this rep and looks correct. I can live with the 3 and 9 markers as I like the retro case shape and hands more. Think it's a candidate for the next one for the collection..

I like it a lot!! I never knew they done a shirra rep though?? Old style case, big crown, very nice what's the story behind it? is the leaf hand at 9 part of the special edition.

Here's a quick pic I've aligned the 9 and 3 bezel markers with centre of the crown and the pearl seems to be centred between the lugs. But still I feel the alignment between dial marker at 12 and bezel pearl is a smudge off, I must be getting bad when I'm scrutinising things like this LOL.!

I feel when I centre the lume dot at centre between the lugs the dial 12 triangle marker seems out by at least 1mm clockwise. I'll get a better pic later but I reckoned it was the dial not the bezel insert which is not centred

+1 I thought this too but think my dial was out of alignment by 1/2mm and insert is straight
