Im not a Rolex fan at all. To most people it's known for being repped and sold in every corner of this planet. And that really bugs me. I know that when I own a Rolex, people are going to say that it's a fake, regardless the fact whether it's the real deal or a rep. That being said, I know I will end up with a submariner in my collection anyways. I love the looks of it. I cannot argue with you Rolex lovers. That's why I'm in the same dilemma as the original poster. Thus I will be patiently waiting for either the Noob v2 or when TC comes up with a gen-spec LN insert. The only decision I have to make then is Ceramic (Noob) or not-Ceramic (TC). As for the movement, if deciding to go for Ceramic (Noob), I'll probably go mid-range for not having total crap or top shelf...

Rolexman, It is indeed an OEM strap. At least, I hope so. It's the Gold Calf Cashmere and got it from Paneristi. I ordered an XS from an AD, and then I'll know for sure...

My new Marlin 111

OMG! I just picked up my modded 111 from Marlin at the post office! I simply love it. Usually when a watch comes in I just like it a lot and I will end up selling it after a couple months. But this baby is a definite keeper! After coming home I took off the rep strap and put on a gen strap. That turned it into a even more beauty! I think I feel comfortable wearing this in front of gen owners or in any AD. Ofcourse I will not wear it in an AD, Im just trying to explain how happy I am with her good looks. I was too excited so I only took a quick wristie in the back-yard in front of my plants as I just watered them wearing my beloved one. More pics will be done this weekend! Thank you Marlin!
