  1. Matt

    The problem is in parts

No spare parts and aftermarket don't fit

They not gen spec and don't even look similar

I just got sub V6s with this movement and the manual winding give up on me

    No replacement = dead movement

Yuki is better way to go as all parts are interchangeable with gen or aftermarket

    Just my 2C

  2. Members asking if gen parts are interchangeable with yuki, and to answer that I did small test

    Used Yuki

    Mainplate

    Escape wheel

    Pallet fork

    Balance wheel complete with bridge

    Finger for date

    Intermediate date corrector wheel

    All screws

Rest of the parts are gen

I know is not economically right but just want to check what could be done with yuki

    I'm amazed with the performance

    Enjoy

  3. Thanks man.  I want real tritium.  I would guess it can be found, but I do not know of anyone that has it.  At some point I will send it off for a movement service anyways so I will find some gen hands that match and have it done then.

Are they have to be white or of white?

Send me a macro of the dots for matching

  4. You ruined my Saturday. LOL

I want to check the ring so badly to prove it the other ones are bad and may not even be a gen one

Did regulate the movement to COSC

Your rotor has a crack and eventually has to be replaced (don't have to do now)

Also have to replace the second pinion as the movement is 1570 and 5513 using 1520 which is the same in exception few parts, one of them is center pinion which is short on 1570 and second hand seating to low touching minute hands

  5. No pusher on 1520

There is a screw which you have to unscrew like two turn before you pull the crown out,

The stem should be on setting position before you touch the screw

When you put back turn the screw back, pull the crown once, push back and tighten the screw again

If you unscrew to many turn you may damage the screw and need new one

  6. That is absolutely stunning Mike. You are a true artist. What are the specs?

    Gen 1570 movement, freshly services

Gen hands (matching patina to the dial)

    Refinished dial on gen plate

    Gen crown

    Unknown case/bezel (had laying around)

Crystal - from my bin (don't know the source)

Insert, I think is aftermarket (I just destroyed a bit)
