  1. Thanks for the info Brother.

    Still undecided.

The gen T116's aren't real expensive.

I just don't know if this case will accept a gen plexi.

The gen 2.7mm gasket on this sapphire fit the case groove nicely.

I actually felt the bezel grab the gasket a bit when pressing it on.

But as easily and quickly as I destroyed the 116 plexi that was on it, I'd be pist to do the same to a gen. :(

And I don't know if this version is acurrate enough to be dropping alot of fundage into..

Don't worry about the gen. The quality is much better than anything you will find on a rep or even aftermarket. Wso on eBay sells a cheap aftermarket 116 but they are not very durable. Get one of the cheap ones to test the fit and if the case fits the gen spec crystal then get one of the sapphire ones from them.

  2. Cartel 1655

    Raffles hands

    Raffles Milsub caseback

Ingod44 matte white dial (great dial)

    Dg3804b movement from Perrin

    Clark's crystal

    Clark's bezel

Genuine bezel insert ( a must)

Any issues fitting the gen insert in the Clark's bezel? I bought one of his assemblies and want to use a gen insert but don't want to spend the money on one if it won't fit.

  3. These will all be for ETA movements. NO singer stamps of any kind. I want these to look great, but at the same time not become infamous on Rolex forums - Don't want anyone misrepresenting these in the future.

    28mm it is :D

It would be nice to see a good matte 1016 dial with the correct fonts and placement. The Yuki dial has the numbers spaced to far from the indices.

  4. UPDATE:

All of the artwork is finished. I added 3 more dials to the lineup, so the list has been expanded to:

    No-date:

    -Rolex 1016

    -Rolex 5513

    -Rolex Comex 5514

    -Rolex 5517 Military

-Rolex 6538 "Bond" Gilt - Attached a little preview :D

    Date:

    -Rolex 1665 drsd MK II

    -Rolex 1680 red MK III

    -Rolex 1680 white sub

I begin the printing process this week, and will receive my dial blanks in the next 3 weeks.

I need some input on the 1016 Explorer dial, as Ingod, Phong, NDT, all have different dial sizes. For those interested in a 1016 dial, what size would be best? 28mm (gen spec), 29mm, or 26.5mm?

    - Whoop

28mm (gen spec) for the 1016 dial all the way. I don't know why ingod does it but they list all their dials at 26.5mm but they all very in size depending on the ref.

  5. Hi All,

I'm putting together an ambitious (for me, at least) project of a franken 5513.

I already have a peach gen 1520 movement from an old, beat-up Air King, gen crown, tube, crystal, bracelet, tritium hands and an Ingod dial re-lumed to match the hands.

So what I need is a case that will fit a gen movement.

I know the Yuki case will, but he never seems to have anything in stock ever.

I have heard good and bad things about the Ingod case, but no one has mentioned whether it will fit a gen movement.

Are there any other cases I should be looking at? I'm not afraid of doing a little case reshaping if there's an otherwise great case that just needs to have the CGs re-done.

    Any thoughts?

For the Yuki case they say to allow 25 days for lead time on the case so I'm sure that they have them made to order. Out of all the high end rep cases Yuki is the most affordable and I think it is a better case than the ingod44 case set.
