It actually depends. The newer dg 3804 movemments will line up and there is no need for an overlay. It really comes down to your source.
-
I disagree with this statement- on my dg3804 the DW is right side justified, so an overlay would help. My dial is the ingod44.
I saw one 3804 this week with an MBW overlay- looked fine. A TC DWO should also work even if the fonts are wrong- closed 6' and 9's.
-
You shouldn't need an overlay with the 3804 if you get a yuki, phong, or ingod dial it will line up just fine. The font is decent as well although not 100% accurate.

Actually I was asking if the date windows on vintage and modern sub dials were in the same position or if they were different.
-
Do all modern and vintage Rolex share the same datewheel alignment between the dial and movement?

I bought a 1655 case from ingod44 and I also found the crystal they used was a little loose fitting. I tried a clarks that I had laying a round and it was loose as well. I have another 116 crystal coming from WSO to try. What movement do you have in there if you dont mind me asking?

Freddy333, although it although it says the adapter is for a 1570 yuki says it will not fit a 1655 case which i dont understand. I know the 1570/1575 gmt movement is a little thicker than the standard 1570/1575 movement I would think it would still work. Whats your opinion?
-
Looking for a stilty adapter but cant get in touch with him. Need one for a 1570 movement. I'm not sure if he still makes them but I have tried the #2the ring from Rafflestime and it did not fit.
-
Will an ETA fit with a movement holder?
Pretty sure you could use a Yuki adapter.

Pics and mesurement please please please
Still cant get good pics up. I only have my phone at the moment for internet since my commputer tookk a dive on me and the camera on my phone sucks. Case measure 39mm. I will get some pics up as soon as I get my computer up and running again.

How about the bezel assembly?
The bezel is pretty nice. The font is good but if there was one thing I would complain about is that the engraving is not very deep.
-
What about Omega flightmaster hands? Has anyone used these hands with a dg movement before?
-
I got a 24hr hand from raffles I just need the hr, min, and sec hands.

Looking for a source that has 1655the hand sets that fit dg movements. I'm building a 1655good with a dg 3804 movement but cant find a hand set. Hoping someone can help

I can't post pics at the moment, but the ingod case is really nice. Only thing mmissing is the caseback gasket. It fits gen spring bars and the shape and finish is really nice. IMO for the price these are the best case sets for a good franken without having to do all the modifications like shaping the case and drilling lugs.
-
I just picked up a 1655 ingod case and dial. Im waiting on it to arrive to see what the quality is like on these cases.

I bought a DW 1680 case and it has been a pain so far. I was able to fit a tropic 19 and a clarks 5513 bezel assembly on it in hopes of making a 5513 while I was waiting on the tube to arrive from yuki. When it arrived I discoverd the case was drilled crooked so the tube did not fit right. Like automatico said "you win some and you loose some" with these cases.

I'm new to the forums and was wondering if there was ever a 38mm PO ever made or if this is just a mistake on there part?
