  1. Welcome to the forum! Before you order again I would research the models available in both the watch brand forums and dealer feedback sections of this forum. You need to do plenty of reading, start here:http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/85981-hey-noobor-not-so-noobread-this-now/
  2. This is a long time issue with the 1665 rep, maybe a little more research would have prevented a surprise. http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=124121
  3. As a supplier Andrew can ask whatever he wants, you can choose to go along with him or not, it's up to you. That being said he can take what ever action he feels appropriate if you do post. I imagine this could include him doing nothing, not supplying QC pics the next time for you or not selling to you at all. I would think it depends on how strongly both parties want to take it(bad for businesses in both cases) I think some dealers just get a little tired seeing threads with every part of there product being picked apart by the knowledgeable and not so, for flaws real or imagined because some one says "Whats wrong with this". Especially when the person posting wouldn't know good one if it was sitting in front of them because they couldn't be bothered to do any research apart from picking out a pretty watch. JMHO
  4. It entirely depends on what finish you are trying to match, you may have to try several grades to get the right one.
  5. Can you post a picture? What you are describing sounds like the locking collar not the pin.
  6. Here: https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php%3Fshowtopic%3D47173&sa=U&ei=mILCUeO9KaS_yQHA5IH4CA&ved=0CAcQFjAA&client=internal-uds-cse&usg=AFQjCNG_Fp4CJlmxatYnLWmzMR4RfusyAA
  7. There are collars on the pins you haven't re-installed correctly. Did you take the clear sticker off the case back! http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/64448-tag-heuer-carrera-cant-remove-pins-on-band/#entry376263 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=52864&view=findpost&p=887686
  8. Welcome to the forum! Read all you can before ordering, you won't regret it.
  9. THAT LOOKS LIKE THE ONE YOU WANT! Here's my UPO 45.5 . Similar construction, but it will not take as many gen parts as the V5 42 that you want and is in that link you provided.
  10. Just kidding, MD2020 worked his magic on this one for me. It is just not finished yet!
  11. Looks fantastic (should've got MD to beat it up some) too pretty!
  12. Welcome to the forum ! Look here. http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/reference-pam-review-107365.html
  13. No, Generally the last version of an older model(steel) is better than the first or second of a new(ceramic) But this is not always the case, sometimes an earlier version in a series has better features that were not carried over to the latest model. The V5 42mm PO is a very accurate rep, needs very few mods and will accept many gen parts. The ceramic has an open caseback and this would nix it for me because the engravings do not turn an Swiss eta or a eta clone into an Omega 8500 movement.JMHO
  14. Works for me on Firefox, but I'm in Canada
  15. Why buy the parts when you can have the ones you've already got Superlumed by a modder?
  16. This is not EVER a good question, simple as that. There are too many variables in which there is too much ambiguity, to give a definitive answer to this much maligned question. Each version of each watch is usually very similar, in many cases the watches come from the same supplier. However different dealer’s do on occasion get different versions of the same watches, and NO ONE can say which is BEST. There are different flaws in each and the best is a personal point of view. Something that you find unbearable as a fault might mean NOTHING to another member, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Don’t ask who has the best anything. It is usually responded to with, frivolity and sarcasm, so just read as much as you possibly can about each version and draw your own conclusions.(stolen from something you should have read already)
  17. I'm still waiting on Canada post for my 6538 that MD 2020 overhauled and lumed for me, usually I'm a patient guy but this one has me chomping at the bit!
  18. Both nice, but the second one is Great
