  1. Well, I sold one latest today actually, and as it seems from the pictures, it is WAAAAAY off...
  2. Good god this rep is bad... (Having worked with Omega and the Good Planet Foundation) The orange and blue color is way off, and the GMT hands paint is really grainy.
  3. Good evening gentlemen! I stumbled across this site, who claim to be sell "New and pre-owned luxury watches." The first thing I happened to look at, which was what i'm trying to find, was the Omega PO. This one is marked as "Sold", and the price is currently unknown. The issue here, being that I have a feeling this was a rep, hence the placement of the pearl. http://www.gioielleriabonanno.com/products/omega-seamaster-planet-ocean-co-axial/ref25025000 Anyone else find this fishy/Find any other reps on this site, claiming to be gen? CS
  4. So, latest status on the LM? Alot of issues are very different on this model, for the new people to this thread: Main differences: Dial is glossy/polished, not matt. It has the older PO version of the crown and HE crown, not the new one with flat threads, instead of triangular/pointy. It does have the same bezel as the new PO's. Closed CB, which eliminates problems arising about the movement not looking up to scratch. The dial is very interesting for me, as I have worked alot with Omega. It has the same font for indexes as the old planet oceans (Before the Co-Axial inhouse movements, so about 3+ years old.), but made in the same way as the new ones. (Metal indexes, instead of having the index markings and numerals painted on the dial. The PO LM: Not the details of it specified above. And here is the NEW PO. (Gen) Again, note the differences to the above, specially the difference of the "9 and "6, outer grip shape of the crown(s), polished bezel and dial as opposed to brushed/matt. And last but not least, the older version of the PO. Note the differences between both the newer PO, and the LM. The outer grip of the bezel is different, not straight as the two previous pictures, the crowns are the same as on the LM, but not the newer PO. Dial and bezel insert are slightly different on this one, and the pearl seems a little different to me, but i'm not sure about that. The bracelet is also rather different, it's slimmer on the new versions. It seems that the new LM is a slight mix between the new and the old PO, with a few tweaks, such as the new bracelet design. (Although this particular watch on the image is one of the rare PO's made with the Divers mesh link.) The only one of these that has the display CB (On the gen.) is the NEWER PO, whereas the LM and the older version have the classic Seahorse logo, thus making these (reps) in one way more gen like, since they don't show the obvious flaws of the incorrect movement. Hope this clarifies a little more as to the differences between these three beauties! CS Out!
  5. The new Avenger Blacksteel is currently awaited for 2015 at the earliest.
  6. First thing's first, Audemars do not "base" their movements on anything. You can't "base" a chrono movement on a non chrono movement, since they are built in totally different ways. Take a look at the ETA 2824-2 and the ETA 7750. Audemars standard chrono movement for the ROO is the 3126, which cannot be compared with the RO non-chrono 3120 movement.
  7. That's the Royal Oak Chrono 26320, no good reps out as far as I've heard. I presume the one on the picture is a gen, and if not, where the hell did he get it?
  8. Damn, that is pretty good! Only the CB is the dead giveaway IMO, but then again it always will be with the rep movement!
  9. This IS looking good indeed. Waiting for mine now, and the current movement is getting scrapped, since (Being the lucky B*stard I am...) have got my hands on a brand new Co-Axial 8500 gen movement, which is going inside this baby! A new crystal with a good AR, and it's almost perfect! CAN'T WAIT!
  10. Is* there* a* new model* in* the* Breitling* range* coming soon. Alternatively; Any new Breitling models/pieces coming soon? And to answer your question; No, there is not. The reasoning behind this being that ALL of the Breitling ranges will as of January 2014 be gradually changing their movements to all In-House, instead of ETA Modifications. (Such as the Calibre B17 found in the Superocean 42/44) This will of course bump up the prices noticeably, making them the same kind of price range as Rolex. After that, so perhaps about mid/late 2015 they might have some new releases. Note: I am only talking about brand new collections, not tweaks and slight changes to an already existing collection.
  11. My god that is a monstrosity. WHERE IS THE ACID?! *Rummaging around to find acid to burn my eyes out*
  12. Update: I tried this on today, both versions (47 with date, and 42 with no date.) and both are wonderful watches. I hope they get repped soon!
  13. Beauties indeed... I hope Angus/anyone who has any contact with the makers (H-fac. BP, Noob etc.) and starts making these!
  14. Of course it can. IMHO: SS watch, go for an SS bracelet, steer clear of any rubber straps. Gold watch, go for a brown strap, it will always be a classic combination.
  15. I bid you a warm welcome to the loony bin! We're all totally mad about watches, so you should fit right in! I hope you stay and become a part of this great, albeit slightly schizophrenic community!
