  1. Not dissimilar to the one that I made a couple of weeks ago, cost me about $200 and some time. Regards AJ
  2. Thanks Ben One has to admit though that the 372 on a good strap holds her own quite well! Regards AJ
  3. Our resident PAM expert Pete will confirm the AR slight blue in certain angles. I will wear her today and start the planning! Thanks AJ
  4. Guys I am delighted to say that I received the new Fiddy from one of our great members in Greece today. This was the beauty with the gen crystal and El case. It is my intention to Super Franken this with new Swiss movement, and as many gen parts as I can get together, a new CG is already en route. Hope you like the photos alongside my PAM372. Regards AJ
  5. Ben The guy that made this is a friend of mine and is now the Silversmith for Aston Martin and other fine car marques thanks to yours truly for the right intros. The initials, hinges, corners etc are sterling silver, however, I did cheat as the first I had made for my race car (Aston) mechanic who is a huge cigar smoker, whereas I am an occasional so had my box made to take watches as opposed to cigars! AJ

  13. Looks great Serge. In fact I have just gained one of your straps and it is a great strap and came on a PAM 082. My PAM029 is fitted with a genuine PAM Croc with contrast stitch and is simply the best I have ever seen which i guess is why they cost as much as the watch! AJ
  14. Gran I am unsure as I bought it from a very well respected member here, I suspect it is but with the genuine strap it looks and feels FAB. Regards AJ

  17. This stunner on genuine strap for me today
  18. It looks like the Stem retainer screw has loosened or was not tight enough. Simple fix! You will need to remove the case back and using a eyeglass and very fine screwdriver, identify the stem retaining screw which will be near where the stem enters into the movement, I suggest you undo it 1/2 turn, insert the stem fully and tighten the screw making a note of how many turns you go past the original position you found it in. That way you will know the screw is tighter than before and thus hopefully not having it happen again. Carefully refit the caseback, however try pulling the stem and adjusting to check all is in order. With the right tools it is a ten/fifteen minute job. Regards AJ
  19. Happy Anniversary, here's to the next one! AJ
