I emailed andrew his response was the ones over 200 dollars are waterproofed at factory and says so in the listing. all the listings say water resistant. that was the genesis of my question. It would make sense to me for light swimming they should all be ok... thanks again guys.

hey guys new person to this arena, I am considering ordering ROLSUB090A - 116600 Black Submariner Asian 2813 From trusty time. I was wondering the level of water resistance. 30m? etc. also if you guys thought this item of of good quality and/ or suggest something else in general price range. I have no issue with asian movement as my seiko has always worked well. I have also had an invicta as my sailing beater watch for years and it worked well. It finally found its way to the bottom of the river. I have interest in a replica so I do not hate myself when I lose the real thing.. any thoughts are welcome.
