OMG...My 3717 is STUNNING!!! I am definitely in for every AR run from now on. This surpasses any stock AR I have...the Cousteau is a mirror by comparison.

Works been crazy all week but I finally got a chance to pick up a card, and package the tequila nicely. It's on it's way to The Zigmeister and he should have it Monday. Books have been ordered but they won't make it to him before Christmas. Admin has been contacted about the balance in the paypal account to be sent to RWG. Will forward full audit trail to kenberg for independant confirmation.

I suppose this brings up the subject of what should be tolerated. The fact is the watch was supposed to be modded, and hand-inspected. In my case, when the watch finally arrived after 2 months, it came with huge scratches on the dial, hands, and the cannon-pinnion that was supposed to be installed, wasn't. The watch was more expensive than if it were from other collectors and I was willing to pay the premium to avoid the hassles of going back and forth trying to get a problem rectified. I paid extra because I wanted it right the first time. In the end, I just asked for a refund and took my money somewhere else. So in that sense, the problem was resolved but is this whole experience acceptable? Would you cheerfully accept this, or would you rather avoid this experience?

I wrestled with the same decision when I got a horrible "modded" fiddy from the same collector. With all the positive reviews he usually gets, I thought maybe it was a one off and didn't reveal the name. Now I'm not so sure.

I've been going back and forth between pams all week (with the exception of a trip to procure The Zigmeister's gift where the Cousteau was an absolute necessity). I don't know how I lived through a month of being pamless. Never again! Today, it's back to the fiddy playing peekaboo.

What did you use? I wetsanded with 400 grit to start, then finished off wetsanding with 1000 grit sandpaper.
