  1. I believe the SOB is still left justified.... I'm so over this TC... there's just too many things to fix on them! might as well just build your own with a TC case cause it just goes on and on!

That's why I want someone to post the typeI , I'm really curious to see if there's is as bad as mine..I'm so sick of hearing about how great these watches are then get clubbed over the head when you point out the obvious.....it's a great case and bracelet.... I'm wondering if the Green insert is good but I'm yet to see anyone post close ups....and I can't agree about the Clark's, I've got one and beside the wm9 it's garbage.

  2. Now that's a mouthful! So for everyone that has any doubt, forget it! Heres my wm9LV again with stock glass.. By the way is the best rep crystal available: temporary_zps42348a7b.jpg And here's my wm9 YM with a gen crystal: temporary_zps170f7547.jpg So far the clarity of the gen hasn't been seen in reps...so almost a must for true enthusiast.

  3. Obviously Gen isn't "the best" it's the standard that is being copied, so, in my humble opinion, Gen being the standard, the only replica close enough to Gen to say pass for Gen is the wm9, all of the other reps aren't even close..that being said, the wm9 is so good that on a side by side to Gen 999 out of a cool thousand ppl can't tell the difference! I'd love for someone to post their TC in this thread..please? Sent from my Windows Phone 8X by HTC using Foroplex

  4. Hey it's "The Noob Messiah"! Hey Rob, glad to see you here my friend, I love RWI but these guys have technical info like crazy, and a lot of pretty cool guys to boot! I posted in the introduction section that while I love my home board, I'm really liking the crazy amount of knowledge over here..... it's really pretty incredible what these guys know and considering your like a Rolex encyclopaedia , they're gunna love you! welcome my friend.... and looking forward to picks as this build progresses.......

  5. Hi Guys I'm not sure if I've introduced myself or not.... I've been around this board for several months, but decided to upgrade to what I thought was VIP and ended up Platinum,,, I've been spending much of my time at RWI and love it there, some of you know me already through RWI and if your here,, glad to see you (makes me feel less of a cheater! lol) ......I've spent time browsing for Wm9 watches lately as I purchased a Franken Wm9 Yacht Master about two months ago and fell head over heals in love with it so I decided to get the entire Wm9 line up...THAT HAS PROVEN TO BE A REALLY CRAZY IDEA! In my searching I've spent a lot of time reading in RWG and was surprised at the difference between the two boards,,,I wound up purchasing my wm9 LV from HartDoc here on RWG and upgrading to Platinum... I mainly would like you guys to know that that while I'm partial to RWI(cause my friends are there) I'm really enjoying the level of technical info I'm finding here at RWG and really loving all the great franken builds here.... Thanks RWG and btw last time I came over for a day or two you guys were having trouble with your membership and donations, congrats on the fix! also we're going through similar issues now..... Thanks again guys....

  6. I guess you guys saw the rwi thread, maybe it was mrfrog? I can't remember but one of the rwi members knows how to walk you through getting it back.... it hasn't been a week or two since the same thing happened and the guy got his watch back.

  7. Just a observation: a1d9562b-d882-4735-893e-898b9073a9d5_zps Picture is a gen dial in a 168003 transitional.. The production fun on the dial was 1986, ready for the wrist 1987...The dials didn't change much from 1983 in the 16803 until the end of the transitions and certainly not from watch to watch... the common occurrences are as follows: 1. The position of the coronet in relationship to the 12:00 marker 2. The head hole in the coronet being 3/4 length of the letter "L" 3. The placement of "OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE" in relation to the name "ROLEX" 4. A picture framed date window 5. placement of the term "SWISS-T<25 between the "28 and "32" indices with "30" indice splitting the hyphen between "SWISS" and "T" These are only common occurrences and there are some variations between different runs of dials.

  8. I'm in a very small group hanging onto the hopes and dreams of a resurrected wm9. But alas coming from BK himself, sad words "wm9 is gone." The natural progression of the line is indeed the TC case It is indeed a better designed sub case and dial, hell even the bracelet... in all of it's sloppiness is underlying Glory! Perfection! but WARNING: MAJOR MODDING REQUIRED....

Why can't all reps be like my wm9 Ym, born a Gen ROLEX just needing a wrist? PICS INCLUDED FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE....

  9. The td's only sale new watches.... in member sales area you can get a watch with modifications already made to get it closer to the gen of that model. Sometimes in member trade area you can get a good deal on a new watch that a member purchased from a td and decided not to keep it.... either way be sure to read and purchase the watch you want, research to be sure and know what your buying before you pay for it.... follow all instructions about making your payment, this ain't quite ordering up a pizza. Always give plenty of time and thought behind any action you make when things don't go quite the way you think they should... welcome to a great hobby and a great forum.....

POST CLOSEUPS OF YOUR  FAVS CAUSE IM SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT GOING FOR A NEW MODEL, MAYBE A DIFFERENT MAKE AND MODEL BUT HOW CAN I MATCH THE QUALITY OR BEAUTY OF THE 16610?  I MAY JUST GET A NEW INSERT B)
