  1. Lime,

If you're getting into lifting (weight training at the gym) I'd recommend you get a pair of Vibrams for the gym. You might frown upon the style/look of it, but the comfort and functionality of them for different exercises are unmatched.

Bought a pair and never looked back - perfect for training legs as well.

  2. Don't leave the house without cologne, it's a long-term habit at this point...

Depending on mood/occasion I use one of the three deodorants: Armani Gio/Valentino/Davidoff Champion

As for cologne, again by occasion: Armani Gio/Pal Zileri Uomo/Bandit de Robert Piguet/Davidoff Champion/Davidoff Adventure/Versace Eau Fraiche/Paco Rabanne 1 Million

Got a few more but those I rarely ever use...the above are regulars that I almost always have in stock  :)

  3. In short, I'd have to say no.

    1. It's a quartz movement. I don't know about you, but personally, and I think most of this forum would agree, an automatic movement is in a whole different league. I don't buy any quartz watches at all now, the feeling of your gears winding on your wrist as you move around, the aesthetic of an open caseback, the 'unlimited use' i.e no batteries needed factor... makes automatic movements god-tier. Additionally, the genuine BB are all automatic. Takes away from the genuine-factor of the watch.

    2. It's a diamonds rep. I don't think there's any explaining to do - you don't really want to buy your other half a watch with obviously fake crystals. This is not to take away from any of our fine watchmakers in the rep factories, but it really just doesn't work very well. Diamonds are a prestige that in my opinion, have to be genuine.

    3. The quartz movement means that the caseback is closed. The big bang series are all (afaik) open caseback. Means obviously it's taking away from the 'genuinity' of the watch.

    4. It's also a gold watch, which are also, in my opinion, a no-no when it comes to reps. The gold is unlikely to look/feel genuine and will take away from its overall aesthetic.

If you want to buy a Hublot for your missus, I'd pick a classic fusion, maybe something like this one from Andrew: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=279_307&products_id=9791

The classic fusion sits better on small wrists (I've got both the BB and the Classic fusion and I've got a thin wrist - the classic fusion sits perfectly on my wrist), a reliable Asian automatic movement, stainless steel, et cetera.

In any case, I'd recommend you try to get an automatic movement and make sure it's made of parts that rep-makers can afford - i.e stainless steel. I'm not sure if there are 38mm version of the V6 Big Bang, but if there are, definitely aim for a V6 - it's considered a super-rep - a watch that is so close to the genuine that only someone very knowledgeable will be able to tell the difference, and so only with very close inspection of the watch.

Of course if details like these don't bother you and won't bother your missus, you can go ahead and get that one, but here at RWG we're all pretty scrutinous when it comes to buying reps.

And a wristie of my V6 Big Bang!

    Good luck buddy.

  4. I bought the blue Maxi Marine with roman dials from Andrew (TrustyTime)

    Absolute beauty.

Great service, but as far as the watch, UN is not up there with the super reps, mostly because it's not such a popular rep for people to buy I'd guess. There's a good bunch of flaws, but these are inherent with all UN reps no matter who you buy from.

If you do buy one, I'd recommend you to immediately plan its servicing and modding...

  5. http://www.louisvuittonfashionstore.com/

Site claims all items are authentic, but still dodgy - located in Hong Kong, no telephone, and advises against bringing LV items into stores because "As the online outlet, we provided the genuine goods on pretty lower price. In fact, we're the strongest competitor with the LV shop. In that way, we're afraid they will not tell you the truth even the bag is exactly real. That is the common method of business. Please kindly understand it."

Anyone know if it's a scam/authentic or decent reps at least? Anyone had experience buying?

    Thanks guys

  6. Thanks for the insight about saturated colours on a blue watch, kronos.

Yeah I've got a Longines Conquest Chronograph gen and a couple Hublot reps. I figured the Maxi Marine would give me something fashionable yet classy to wear during the summer, and generally is a good fusion of class and trend for all-round wearing.

  7. Hey guys.

I'm currently on the lookout for a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine - I've bought from Andrew in the past and have had, for the most part, a very good experience with his stock.

However when buying previous watches (both have been Hublots) I researched the factories where they were made and consulted with forums like this to make sure that they were the highest quality reps available, as Andrew has a diverse stock.

I've got my eyes on this beauty - http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=298_315&products_id=5012&zenid=a889665af32a62cb2147d96f6386b5a5

If anyone is knowledgeable of UNs/has bought them in the past and can enlighten me with some feedback et cetera I'd greatly appreciate it, as I want to make an informed and correct choice when purchasing.

I look forward to all and any responses,

    Cory
