I have sent him a 5167 for repair and the communication was fast but till the moment he received the watch he does not reply to my emails and all known phone numbers are not working anymore?

So evidently,these aren't water proof.

I broke it down when I got home. Turns out that the bezel is cracked at the nuts.

So I need to locate a new ceramic bezel. I'll grease the gaskets too. Should do the trick.

I took a look at the case construction of the ap carbon diver. Your cracked bezel has no influence on the waterproofnes of the watch. One of the seals must be damaged or the screws haven't been tightend.

The problem with 6538 and 5510 is that the case sets from Minh, ndt and phong are not 1:1 copy's. the bezels are a big tell, cause they even do not look like gen... Also the cases, they are way wrong. the only case that is 75% of the gen is the phong case....and if you want to have it to look nearly like the gen then you have to reshape it...

No you don't. It is one thing to keep the head itself from getting scratched. A whole bracelet would be a whole other level of pain.

the scratches on bead blasteds are patina, and some peole like it...

it is now impossible to find gen parts, all sources are dry... some dials popped up at the bay, but gone in a flash... gen hands sets... impossible to find :-(

Probably he is in the uk, cause TM EYE UK, acts only in the uk. The dealers need to find as soon as possible a new shipping method! Maybe shipping over another country in the eu is possible.

Hmm, i do not know how your chances are, maybe this seizures have to do something with the olympic games, but as far as i understood our dealers there is a organization or something like that which is called TM EYE UK. They are working together with customs and are payed by the richemont group

They keeped the iwc cause iwc belongs to the richmond group. All watches that are from this group will be seized from now on by uk customs.

The dealers should find another way to bring the watches to the eu. The uk method will not work anymore :-(

your case is totaly off. it has the wrong shape...

Looks like he uses a 1665 case for his 5514. Still looks good though. Bezel seems a little thick also. So hard to tell with Yuki stuff, as it seems to change constantly.

I like the dial on this one. The dark markers look good.

yep, he uses a 1665 case set for the 5514. that´s totaly wrong and also the rehaut is off. for franken projects it is the best to go with ndt or phong.... i know they are expensive but their cases are 1:1...

- the rehaut is totaly wrong

- the crownguard needs to get reshaped

- bezel is wrong

- edges of the lugs are wrong

yuki case sets are not that good. the rehaut on the 1665 is totaly wrong and the specs of his case sets are not 1:1. go with a ndt or phong (j&w) case set.

the V23 is very rare and that

I had a very flawed ETZ V5 DSSd that was returned back in December. It is to be replaced with a 2010 DSSD. I have and order number, but as of today haven't seen photos of my watch. Order was placed on 3/28/10. When i receive the watch I will post photos. I don't think anyone has gotten one as they have just started the order process last week. From the preliminary photos on their website, it looks better, but the line up of the letters on the Original Gas Escape Valve Ring lock System, don't line up exactly as they are shown. However ijust looked at a photo of a genuine, and the letters don't line up exactly on it as well, so i think that some of thatb is just us "picking nits"

I will save the genuine photo and use it as a comparison when mine gets here

as far as i can see from these bad picks on eurotimez, the engraving seems to be correct, same spacing and alignment as on the gen. the only thing that i recognized is the printing on the dial, it seems to be alittle bit to fat, but maybe this comes from the unsharp pics.

the cases where the movement comes out to the front, like on the genuine, by removing the bezel with the saphire are out of production :-(.

the only cases that are available are the weak cases where the movement comes out to the back, by removing the caseback
