I don't know about his movements, but I use all his cases and they're great! Fits gen movement perfectly. I have my watches built and movements serviced elsewhere.

Well, I think that scaring the OP away from a Speedy because of the dial spacing is a bit over the top.    It's a significant flaw, but unless someone is taking a close look at it, who really cares?    The OP says he's looking for a cheap rep Speedy to start his collection.   He's clearly not as anal about details as many others are.
I got my Silver Snoopy Speedy this week and can't take it off!   It's a great rep, flaws and all...............

This should be quite easy to make, there are no markers and studs on the side, the only challenge is the sunburst and the right colour dial. I can possibly ask dad to see if he can get it done in Vietnam

HR sells a Nicely profiled caseback

Rolojack, any recommendation for aftermarket case backs that will fit a cartel that's more gen spec thinness? I find the cartel to be almost 3mm too thick.

The scallops on cartels bezels are too short and too deep. My gens are longer almost the entire length of the top of the bezel and not as deep (height wise). Like the ones on this watch.

Did you polish the bezel? Looks better than the stock cartel bezel.
