What is Toro's new site?
-
I was so excited about this, but they are not the noob factory ones. Andrew said its from a 'smaller factory". Very curious about the quality vs the noob factory on these...

Yeah, I would contact him and see. If it is DHL I would request not go into CINCINATTI. I just opted for a refund and maybe place another order in a month or so just in case.

It is going to Texas, and it's in Cincinatti. Already contacted my TD he has agreed to send a new package. Even changing up the order thanks toro.
Cincinatti had tons of seizures this month. I had one as well after 3 years of ordering. I took a refund from Andrew though. How is Toro shipping your replacement?

My package was due 2/3/16 and it never came. I called and they said they would look into it. Well I get a call saying customs has a hold on it.. Says it can be 30-60 days to process if.. Can I assume my package is gone!?! Thanks in advance for the insite.
Hate to break it to you but once customs has it you're doomed. There is no way they will hand it back to you once they open it. They will eventually send a letter and no point in calling back or responding to the letter. Just ignore everything and contact your TD

A plenty of packages got seized in the U.S. customs. They will reship your order after the chinese new year
Any chance to get a TD to re ship without waiting for the letter? I know mines gone but don't want to wait 30+ days. Any advice toro?

Which day was shipped? Usually please contact DHL is not a good sign
Please contact DHL showed up yesterday. I don't thinks it's a good sign either. No point in contacting them in my opinion. Just wanted to get others take

Any advice?

I placed an order with Andrew and have been tracking it. Today I received the "please contact dhl" update. From what I read it basically means it's gone. Besides contacting Andrew, do I contact DHL? Or do I just ignore everything including the letter that I will probably receive? Any advice is appreciated

I placed an order with Andrew and have been tracking. Today I received the "please contact DHL" I know this is not good, but I've never dealt with this before. Do I just ignore it? And the letter they will send? Any insight is helpful.
No Idea how this ended up here lol mode please delete.

Hey guys, in a bit of a bind here. My 243 from VAC just got s scuff mark on the cyclops. Does anyone know if someone can source out a new crystal? I'll even take gen...

How many times do you take off your watch to show people the back though? Its a great rep and one of my favorites. You wont regret purchasing!

Leather will stretch if you get it wet. I'll be easy to pull it that little bit wider. Problem is going to come when you wear it. The strain pulling the leather lengthwise instead of width wise will pull it back to where it was before.
You gotta remember, that's a dead animal hide. They can cut it perfect, but half a millimeter isn't hard to lose when they finish the edges.
You could try getting some edge paint and just hitting right around the lug hole. That actually might be your best bet. You can peel it off if you need. Or get something called UW 13/8 it's a edge gloss. It's basically like a clear liquid plastic. Use a q-tip and just hit that end of the strap that sits between the lugs.
Where can I find the edge paint or the UW 13/8

Both of the Pams I've had were perfect fit for a Gen 24mm strap, it would bug the crap outta me otherwise my ocd kicks in pretty quick ! I'd have thought you could manipulate the strap to stretch it a little and fill the gap quite easily with the strap you have.
What do you think is the easiest way to stretch it is?
-
Its not that big of a deal to me. Im sure I can rig up something eventually. Just was curious if anyone else has experienced this.
-
and yeah the strap is 24mm. It was previously on a luminor pam. I dont know if the submersibles are a tad bigger.
-
No mate! All my straps have tight fit on my pams!
@OP: Is your strap exactly 24mm? And are your lugs exactly 24mm?
I believe the 243's are 24mm

Hello.
I recently picked up my Pam 243 from Vac, which is amazing! I also picked up a gen strap. They are both 24 lug width, but when I installed the strap I seem to have very little play between the lugs. Has anyone come across this before? Any ideas on how I can close that gap?

I have not. That’s a bit over my head at the moment. But I went with the clean cause of the better movement. Have you heard positive things on the 3285 movements in these?
