  1. Angus said these JF were made to gen spec, but I can tell you right now, that bezel isn't to gen spec, the groove for the gasket which is missing from all the JF subs is not in the correct position. It should be more to the outer circumference, not so close to the crystal gasket. Here's an old beat up TC Bezel Retainer for example.. DSC00584 by S STEEL, on Flickr
  2. A customer has contacted me regarding an issue with his JF Submariner with SH3135 movement, his bracelet has come apart just like this one above, the SEL is held in place with ceramic balls, so I need to remove these and custom fit a spring bar in there for him, I'm guessing I will be having a few of thee JF in for the same repair. Having said that, the seller of thew above bracelet does have a good standing, so I guess its gen, but as previously suggested, a bent bar from being stretched.
  3. Indeed, its laughable, and I don't see that I am doing anything wrong whatsoever, I purchased the parts in the photos above, they are now my property.
  4. Nobody said they will be TC builds, I'm simply using the last of his parts thats all.
  5. SSTC projects by S STEEL, on Flickr DSC00219 by S STEEL, on Flickr Just need bracelets now, 3135 Yuki's will be fitted in these.
  6. I've never ever seen white ceramic balls located there, not very safe really either. Its more likely a bent pin caused by someone having an accident whilst wearing the watch, hence its for sale? Optical illusion?
  7. Still looking for TC parts, check your drawers, cash waiting.
  8. That pin has small sliced ends, once this pin is pushed through the central part, its normally manoeuvred into place, and pushed into the two other parts either side, you can do this yourself, but use some two part epoxy resin, and clamp the parts shut whilst the adhesive cures.
  9. I'm very busy these days, but providing you source the gen crown and tube, i will fit you in
  10. I don't believe a gen crown will fit the rep tube, so best to get a matching gen pair.
  11. Likewise, I too were once rich when I had my own company, but with that came huge responsibilities, which were life and death scenarios due to the nature of my business, teams climbing radio towers up to 100m tall. I have also been poor, and had to manage day by day. Money doesn't buy your happiness mate, now whilst I'm no longer poor, I have a job I enjoy, I'm my own boss, work my own hours, days, married, and very happy, life is no rehearsal mate, so make the most out of your life, you only have the one, as you get older you cherish it more and more. Don't set your targets too high for the future, little steps, changes, lead to great strides.

  13. I will also consider buying damaged, or scratched TC dials.
  14. Check your spam folder in your email?
  15. You should receive the PayPal invoice in your email inbox.
  16. Some rep cases I have here are the same, didn't realise they were to gen spec.
