  1. Agree, thats why I make my own stems for the SA3135 movements, the originals are too fragile for regular use.
  2. No, currently in the bidding of packaging, as I'm moving in a couple of days.
  3. On here? Not received anything from you.
  4. Yes, I work on genuine brand watches for my day job, and unlike most in my field, I am happy to undertake repairs of some replica watches too. I'm moving premises in a couple of days though, and won't be back up and running until the end of January, so drop me a pm, and I will give you my email, and you can email me, I will then email you my price list, and then if you wish, get back to me end of January, and I will get you booked in.
  5. If you haven't done this before, I would advise against it my friend. Even when you have experience in watchmaking, the method of extracting the stem differs from one guy to another, myself personally pull the crown out to time setting position, and gently push the stem release button whilst gently pulling the crown outwards. As said, I only choose this method due to the way I handle the movement afterwards, and this is dependant on what i have already disassembled from the dial side of the movement. Get a watch repair guy to do this for you if cleaning the dial is your only reason, you may well screw up the keyless work, and then be without the watch until you get it repaired.
  6. And another celeb has passed away! 2016 has been terrible for celeb deaths, RIP George
  7. Will let you know my findings once my order arrives, and I have inspected them. Will be late January now as I'm moving in a few days time.
  8. I maybe interested, as my supplier has dried up too, managed to get the last of the 7750/53 from them, but no more 28XX, so recently invested in a batch of STP (Swiss Technology Project) Swiss Movements as a viable alternative. STP Movement from Fossil STP Group by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr
  9. They are widely available from various sources, TD's, and even eBay. Less than $200 shipped. Not a DIY swap if your not experienced, or have the correct tools at hand.
  10. Removed again. www_ebay_com_itm_Error_item_311760163336_C2_A0_errid_5 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Searching for the item number, it brings up this overly expensive handset. ROLEX RARE VINTAGE GMT-MASTER 6542 RADIUM SET OF HANDS MINI UNTOUCHED CAL. 1030
  11. Listing has been removed.
  12. Ball 90% inflated, and squeeze the ball, pushing quite hard down onto the case back whilst turning anti-clockwise. I find better results when I clean both the ball, and case back with alcohol wipes. Make sure both are dry before carrying out the procedure.
  13. Nice polar, how is the reliability of the CHS movement?
  14. I'm a service provider in Watchmaking, and carry out various mods, in EU too
  15. I fit many profsteve AR crystals every month, from genuine brand watches including Panerai, to replica watches. I'm in EU Mickey.
  16. Get a pro to do it, they will already have the tool, I have one with different sizes of tip for different sizes of bearings.
