  2. Wishful thnking, I need to upgrade my account on here to VIP soon, something I have been meaning to do in a long long time, its having the time.
  3. Always had RWGForum browser tab opened, and always clicked show new content daily, preference set was show unread content, but still no new posts. Then I checked my other preferences on the left hand side of the page. Bloody "Content participated in" was checked No wonder I couldn't see any new posts here. Live and learn
  4. So seeing as its not cost effective to have me help you getting this done, who are you now sending it to? I can recommend UK Watch Services, Alex, and Neil, UK Based.
  5. PM replied, I will sort this out for you, please email me as per pm
  6. Cheers guys, sorted it, the arm was slightly deformed and not making contact fully.
  7. I know this is an epic old thread resurrection, but I found it interesting. I have an issue with a A7750 right now, the hour brake is not slipping, i.e., the hour counter remains still during normal timekeeping, what I am experiencing though is when the chronograph is used, stopped, and then reset, the hour gear moves to random places, and does not reset to 12 as it should do. Starting and stopping the chronograph, and resetting it each time, it does eventually align to 12, but probably more a coincidence? Anyone know what could be the cause of my specific issue?
  8. Thanks Mike, I'm in Finland, from the UK originally, but escaped in 2007. Its now repaired, and ready to return to the OP
  9. Just reread your thread to make sure I didn't miss anything. If its not oversized -orings in the tube, it could well be the crown clutch is failing, and a new TC crown would fix it. But from the detail you describe, it does sound something more that this, as per pm mate.
  10. I have come across similar with a TC2824, and the issue was related to the minute pinion/gear, the actual pinion for the minute hand had come away from the lower gear that its usually pressed into.
  11. My mom has come out of remission, again, she starts her second session of chemo on Tuesday. Thinking of you Cat too mate.
  12. Thats the one mate, the peg wood DIY job
  13. If you don't have the special tool you can make one from some peg wood. Basically shape the end of the peg wood like an inverted cone shape similar o a staking tool stake.
  14. No problems here, just had to login again after resetting my browser.
  15. Thats why there are people like myself who can, all part of the rep game my friend, correcting those small tells to make your rep more accurate
  16. I would remove the movement from the case, remove the hands, and dial, and then from the rear of the dial remove the adhesive that the rep factories apply to secure the marker to the dial. I would then modify the marker securing feet, and relocate it onto the dial, and put everything back
  17. The only stand out flaw that would do my head in is the 1 of 12 being crooked on the dial. Something easily sorted out though, so not a reason to reject it.
  18. You source the parts, then once you have everything, ship them to me, and I will build it for you.
  19. Drop me a pm if you need help.
