  1. Ah bugger, I thought for a minute we had a decisive name for this new breed high beat POS movement for a minute.
  2. Thanks for the actual name, do you have a link to that reference? As to parts being interchangeable, I have found the following are not interchangeable.. Stem Rotor/bearing Auto wind Bridge Date wheel
  3. Well done mate. I have had to do similar in making custom dies, its the only way to be 100% certain things will go right.
  4. Certainly something that don't belong in there. It don't look like some lume that has come away from the dial. Obviously yu would need to open the watch up to remove it.
  5. Sounds like those issues may of been caused by a loose dial.
  6. PM replied. Fair enough if you wish to stay in CONUS, if you have no luck, you have my email
  7. PM me, I will help you out, but be quick I am winding things down work wise in prep for my upcoming vacation.
  8. Our member Alberto is Italian, and his English is good.
  9. If it has snapped off, its easy enough to gain access to that area without removing the dial and hands. You can access it from the rear by removing the ratchet wheel bridge.
  10. Thats certainly the wrong stem for that movement. The movement does look Swiss, but hard to say for sure without highres photos.
  11. What did it look like on your QC photos? Post a photo of the stem, and the movement when you get home, and we will see if you got what you paid for.
  12. Hard to imagine the response that would of got from the public 200 years ago. Amazing!
  13. Sorry to hear this Ken, hope things improve mate.
  14. I make my own nylon gaskets to hold the bezel assembly, you can use a crystal gasket, but you need to find the right size to stretch over the retainer, or cut the crystal gasket to the correct thickness.
  15. I have found similar instances too mate via google, shocking. In my case, the battery swollen up, and effected the track pad physical click, this is working fine now the battery is removed, so all being well, will be back to normal when the replacement battery arrives
  16. Yup, so far so good, no random reboots, or crashes (famous last words). So hopefully with the new battery fitted when it arrives all will be fine.
  17. You know what mate, you were right. I am now back on my Mac without its battery fitted, I didn't think it would work, but it does. Brilliant. I'M BACK!
  18. Battery is removed and Mac won't work on mains only due to circuit incomplete . Sent from my iPhone sitting on the loo.
  19. Sent from my iPhone sitting on the loo. Damn where did my reply go. Thanks mate, luckily I have now managed to add my work email on my phone, so all good now, just a pita typing with a big finger and a tiny screen lol Sent from my iPhone sitting on the loo.
  20. The movement comes out from the front on these. You need to remove the bezel and crystal after removing the movement clamps. Its certainly the case for the A7750 model.
