  2. Any of you guys get hit by customs import duties?
  3. Well done guys, looking forward to how this pans out, fingers crossed for you all. Hope you don't get stung by customs, I noticed on his listing he's not adding customs duty option whereas you can pay the duty based on the sale price. I use a bezel derlin die with my press to push the retainer onto the crystal gasket. You don't want to be pressing the whole bezel assembly down in one piece with these ceramic, too risky, as the insert can break. With ceramics, there is a white nylon retainer on the metal retainer, the nylon retainer is what holds the rotating part of the bezel assembly.
  4. Crystal is crooked, and the bezel, including the pearl is a mess lol
  5. Looks superb! I have fitted a couple of these to AP Divers, and they really make the dial pop. Have a new order for a colourless AR for of of my own divers too now
  6. Interesting experiments. What is more interesting is your use of products usually found in the kitchen
  7. It was the first time I have seen that kind of construction, quite interesting.
  8. Sound alike you may have to renew some if not all of the keyless components. If any of them are out of shape, however little, they will not work together as they should.
  9. Are both shellac's still in their correct positions in the pallet fork? Post a photo. If the shellac's are there, then you maybe looking at a broken pallet fork pinion, or even cracked top or bottom jewel caused by incorrect fitting/reassembly.
  10. What movement do you actually have in your FC?
  11. The only other thing is your pallet fork is allowing the escapement to release the power reserve. Check that the Shellac's are still there on the pallet fork itself.
  12. Click spring not engaging, and may just need repositioning. You can access it under the bridge that covers the rear end of the keyless.
  13. Probably new staff. I am under the impression that its not lways Andrew sending his emails.
  14. Great news Ken, just be careful with who you let pay with paypal.
  15. Agree with Mark, has a few of these in for repair.
  16. Where are you located?
  17. Welcome aboard : Greetings from Suomi.
  18. This^^^ All the ETA 2824-2 movements I purchased recently don't have H4 cannon pinion, so I'm having to do the above for TC builds that customers want, not only the 4th wheel needs changing, the hour, and minute pinions too. Lesson learned my end too, I will specifically ask for H4 with my next movement order, but if they can't supply H4, then its not too taxing to buy the additional parts and change them.
  19. Looks ok, and nothing a watchmaker can perfect for you should you have OCD like many of us
